Help! Received a Requerimiento de pago from CAMBANK - any ideas

Hi All -

my husband and I have both received a requirement to pay  443 EUR from CAMBANK.  It says Prestamo.

Before we contact bank we wondered if anyone else had had this request yet.

prestamo means loan

While we are on the subject of the cam bank can anyone help with some small charges that have been taken out of my account but i dont know what they are for:

1) Carg. Int 8.25 euros

2) Cuota t.Maestro 15 euros x 2

Phil Ithink they are account maintenance charges and similar for your debit card- cant help with the other query though

The 1st is an account maintenance charge.  You'll get this every quarter.

The second refers to your Maestro debit card.  I also have one but have never been charged for using it, so can't really help here.

Requerimiento de pago prestamo must refer to your apartment mortgage. Is it with the CAM? Because if you do not have any mortgage they may have made a mistake.

Just contact them and request an explanation.

In relation with the cards (visa maestro) you will be charged normally once a year, unless they have told you something different. Some banks, if you keep using the card, won't charge you the "fee-cuota" but in a period of crisis now, they will charged as much as they can. It is all depending on the bank and how good you negociate. If you mention to them you will cancel the cards, you might be able to get it for free, not paying an annual fee.
