Oh Boy Alan, are you having a laugh - Palacios pay for such frivolities! I reckon this will be down to the community association.
It would also be nice to have some barbecues up there too!

I think if you look at the some of the other delopments in the the area the developers have fully landscaped the roof area with plants, decking ,seating and barbecues etc it is not out of the question, are you trying to say that our builder is a cheap skate?

Alan,
I have a snagging list for my apartment (block 2) and i have asked Palacious and had no joy, My agents have contacted Palacious and had no joy, and my Solicitor has now contacted Palacious and guess what............No joy (so far) They do not seem to be able to complete the jobs they have started let alone worry about roof terraces. The excuse other people waiting for snagging have been given is that all the builders etc are busy trying to finish the blocks but it remains to be seen if they will return to do the jobs that still need completing in so called `finished apartments`
I was told i had 28 days after getting the keys for the snagging list to be completed. Today is day 29 and i am still waiting.
Regards
SUE

You must remember that you are 4 floors up without a lift working, you will need to entice these builders to carry those heavy tools up to that dizzy height, a short skirt and a nice bacon butty will do the trick.

There may be something in the builders excuse. Many of us whose apartments are 6 months & more overdue are pushing very hard for our property to be finished. But just think for a moment, isn't the laid back, leave it until tomorrow culture just what we are all longing for, instead of the do it now (yesterday is better) rat race in the this country? I guess we can't pick and choose, either we want to buy in to the manyana society or not, but we can't have it both ways.
This typifies me. I have worked for over four decades in the UK construction industry and am used to giving all (sometimes more) to get the job done and this "do it tomorrow" culture annoys the hell out of me, but once we have moved in, I am determined to change, enjoy the sunshine, a glass or two of grape juice with my neighbours and keep practicing the native language in the Spanish bar. I am sure that will help me live longer.

Hi Sue
Snagging is the same the world over no-one wants to go back to do it, simply because there is no money in it , palacios mar could to be trying their best to get it done, but they are not the builder , they will have little control over the labour on site, i have no dout that it will get done. its just a matter of time.

Alan,
I am going out again in July so if nothing has been done by then i will grab a builder and drag him to my apartment by his ears to get the list complete. Where there`s a will there`s a way!
Hopefully it will be done by then i will keep nagging for now.
Regards
Sue
