Anyone except Boris (or of course Jeremy Corbyn).

Anyone except Boris

Why not?  It would be ironic if, the way Westminster has turned into a circus, they put one of the clowns in charge.

Trouble is, can't see any potential ringmasters in the lot that are standing.

I take it you're all happy that our railways are owned by other European governments like the French and the Dutch. Electricity owned by Iberdrola, steel by Indian companies. I'm sure you are all delighted by the NHS being sold off in parts. Corbyn will nationalise strategic industries...as well as a socialist he is a true patriot unlike the shower who have asset stripped the UK.

Clown he is not

Nigel Farage would create the same divisive culture as now exists in the USA with Trump.  We don't need that, or left wing nutters like Corbyn and his cronies either.

It would be interesting to know what Corbyn and his cronies stand for?

Tend to agree - Boris is bad enough, but Dianne Abbott as Home Secretary?

Other than being an old floozy of Corbyn why on earth is she part of the shadow cabinet?  We are in danger of losing any remnants of credibity we still have.

I wonder should the question be who should be the next PM and Chancellor of the Exchequer since according to Brexit Central “the approach taken by both the Chancellor, as well as the Prime Minister – both of whom have surrounded themselves with Remainer advisors and civil servants in key positions, who, to the public, are not intent on delivering the Brexit the majority voted for.”

https://brexitcentral.com/philip-hammond-has-arguably-done-more-to-scupper-brexit-than-the-lib-dems-or-change-uk/

The question relating to the new PM then becomes who as PM would be willing to choose a new Chancellor who would be sufficiently supportive to ensure Brexit is  negotiated and delivered, either with a mutually acceptable deal that can pass through Parliament, or if the EU refuse ( are obstructive)  to enable this option to progress, then the new Chancellor should be willing to encourage and step up preparations for a no deal scenario in the interim period prior to end October.

The main point being, this is not necessarily a simple decision based upon choosing a new PM alone, as some would suggest.

Considering the shambles parliament is in we may has well have a punt on bonkers Boris. At the moment neither the Tories nor Labour could win a coconut at the fairground. As for credibility we are already the news laughing stock of the EU.

you've got to laugh at the little Englanders...blue rinses and twin sets. It's all doom and gloom because of Corbyn. Never mind that the tories have been in power this last decade. Austerity, no investment in the UK's regions, savage public spending cuts with the result that the national debt has gone from £1 trillion in 2010 to £1.8 trillion today. The whole Brexit mess is down to them and May's deal failed because a small group of right wing nut jobs in the tory party voted against it.

Yet it's Labour's fault. How dare Corbyn propose essential and strategic industries be taken back into the hands of the people. Tory patriots will be shocked that British people will own these....far better selling them off to spivs and chancers and foreign governments.

you couldn't nake it up

John, I agree, but despite the abysmal performance of the Tories why do you think Corbyn and labour have remained in opposition for the last decade? Is it all down to little Englanders...blue rinses and twin sets, and only you know better?
