I think i agree with jenx and a few others that this informative and vital site has been destroyed by a few people and i hope they are ashamed at what they have achieved over the last few weeks. i hope they are satisfied that the community is now well and truly divided and we are all going to end up in the clutches of the developer.

But some people are searching for every opportunity to blame the community board

Seems that some people are looking now with a magnifying glass how the new cleaning company is doing

After 2 years hervas it was still not clean but after 2 weeks there is already judgement on the new company

Very sad!!! Thats all I can say

If people vote Hervas to hire again we will have double problems

1 How to stop the contract with the new company?

2 The quality will be the same as last years and the soap opera continues without soap in every corner of DJ

When you were collecting votes to support your call for the EGM you didn’t give the “full facts” as you claim. You only gave a very one sided view of what had occurred. You are now upset that the committee is providing additional information so that people can make an informed decision. You are also actively discouraging people from voting! Your enthusiasm for democracy was pretty short lived. Please do not insult the intelligence of our neighbours. If they want to vote let them vote.

You complain that we have provided a blank proxy. What sort would you provide – one already filled in with your name?

You seem to think that you are the spokesman for all those who signed the call for the meeting. Why is this? When I refer to the “small group” I am referring to you and your small band of people who collected signatures for the meeting. RG calls you Max & Co. Previously I called you activists but you didn’t like that. Do you prefer dissidents? You are a self appointed shadow committee out to discredit the elected committee and belittle what we have achieved.

I have no difficulty letting you have a copy of the letter sent to the neighbours from the committee but I would need a commitment from you that neither you Saskia or any of your virtual supporters will post it on EOS. EOS is an open forum with many silent watchers not all of whom are residents and is not a suitable place for community papers.

the letter sent out basically states version of events from the committee's point of view why is Max so against this after all as already pointed out below Max has only given his version of events in order to gain the votes to hold the EGM. It is only fair that people hear it from both sides.

The committee has asked for peoples vote but there is nothing wrong with that after all that is what Max did when he collected the signatures. A proxy form has been provided to everyone which is blank so you can fill in details of whom you want to give the proxy to and what and how you want to vote for, they have not sent proxy forms out pre filled with the committee members details so people do not have a choice.

Max keeps referring to just 2 people opposing the EGM but infact there is far more then just 2 but due to all the rubbish on EOS of late most are not posting (can't blame them) this forum has changed from being a polite informative place where people can exchange useful information to being dominated by just 1 man and turned into, as David put it, a toxic dump.

Why insult both to max and other neighbors? You are also a small group of people that you are blind to everything that makes the board.  What are you with that support? Most of you don´t live here so  How can you know what is really happening in the community?

I do that now grace you call to listen to both sides, is what the neighbors have been calling for 2 months.
The Board hidden things, has been forced to have a meeting that did not want, and are now trying to manipulate  and they are doing a campaign in search and capture votes, they are afraid and there are trying  to discredit all neighbors who have requested an EGM.
The neighbors are not stupid, what do they really hide the Board to be so nervous? Stop insulting the neighbors, deserve respect, and so far has only been asked to speak, but their actions are revealing and I hope that the meeting could reveal what they hide

This is getting out of control. Committee members threatening people??

This thread had his time. There is no longer a request for an EGM, but a scheduled one. In the secret letter to the English it is falsely presented as a courtesy but in reality it has legally correct been demanded by > 27% of the possible votes. I will no longer post in this topic, but stick to the Spring EGM topic. It's a nuisance if there are two different topics and people start to answer posts made in one topic in the other one.

Let's leave this soap behind us and start to post like responsible owners in the actual EGM topic.

Max please stop telling lies. "in the secret letter to the English" - there is no secret letter there is an open letter to all neighbours and you know it. I even offered to send you a copy if you give me an undertaking not to post it on the internet. If you would like to stop being accused of telling lies just stop telling them. It's that simple!

First: Though I’ve never written here before  I’ m doing it now because of  a letter I have just received from the Board elected by the neighbours.

Second:  I’ve been reading forum messages for the last two weeks and I actually think it’s amazing. I couldn’t believe such an  uncomfortable situation.

Third: I’ve observed the development of all this and I have reached to the idea that this isn’t a normal community as a fact there’s a huge problem because of the Board behaviour.

Four: I think the Board has two aims:

a-     Board just says  “I want you to do this”, “I want you to think this way”. They want the neighbours to be leadered by them. They want the neighbours not to question. They want the neighbours not to think. They want us to behave as polite and obedient subjects. They want to manage, handle and manipulate us.

b-     I think the Board pretends fair play, thus all the oponents are wrong. On top of this the Board is going to manipulate every decision with no interference from any neighbour.

Five:  If I say this isn’t a normal community is because it is said that leaders are just servers of people. Not these ones. They have no interest in neighbours ideas or aims. They just want the power.

Six:  The Board is just a group of people elected by neighbours. Just that.  I’ m sure they have forgotten their actual goal.

Seven:  I’ ll try to be on 2^nd.May if I can’ t I’m going to delegate my vote to somebody not connected with the Board.

Dear Rene, I do not know that you investigate the neighbors. I see that the board is forming a black list of neighbors, or anyone who disagrees with your decisions are bad neighbors and have to be on a list to identify them clearly. Hello democracy!!.
I have nothing to hide, maybe the board itself  are like vicius  dogs, if you know who I am come into my house and give you your trophy for good Sherlock Holmes.
It is going out of hand from you, the neighbors just want to talk, but you're so nervous and you´re attacking with insults and lies about the neighbors.
On the other hand, I have listenning something about a letter, I have not received any, I guess I am on a list I am not entitled to receive notice or that is just what send to people who think you can handle.
It is incredible what is happening in the community, neighbors ask them a simple meeting and you are dedicated to insult, slander and manipulation, and now I see send letters to hide what?

Why so afraid a simple meeting?

The list I refer to is from neighbours who are violating community rules, for example placing airconditioning at a place where it should not be. Not saying that you are the one in this example.

Nothing special just the facts and rules we as a community have agreed on, so very democratic.

I think you are using rude language, acusing people for things they haven't done, writing pure lies and comparing board members with Franco.

On a personal note:

I don't have respect for someone who is behaving like this.

And I think many people will agree with me that with this behaviour you contribute to make this message board like rubbish

And therefore this is my last response to your parrot posts untill you show that you can behave again.

I hope you will change and that we can have constructive talks instead of this rude posts

11. I have the right to insult and  accuse and basically say whatever I choose, at any time.

12. I have the right to hide behind my anonymity  instead of showing who I am, as I am too afraid come forward and stand up for my beliefs.

Twisk , are you related to Carol 12 as your posts seem to be very similar?

 So someone got Twisk post removed, but didn't report the other abuse some forum members made. I'm all in favour of keeping this forum a polite place, but statememts from f.i Jenx 'I love the raw knuckled fight put up by RG', accusations agains Carol 'you are the biggest offender in DJ'  from committee members without knowing who she is, etc (apart from the insultments at my address) are still there. 

I feel ashamed about the state of this originally helpful and supportive forum.

I hope our English speaking vice-president will use his influence to correct this injustice to the Spanish members of our community.
