Banned

Can we take it Brainmags ,Tony and Malc ? Have all been banned or do they simply have nothing left to say .MM  Perhaps it is better to let sleeping dogs lie

MM  Shame you cant stick to what you say, as you said in a previous topic that you will not post anymore till im exposed for who i really am and banned .lol.  Well im not banned and how can i be exposed if im only me and not like you who uses different aliases.  Are you going to keep quiet now?

Ive shown you up to be what you are, as you have never proved all the lies you tell, when challenged you can never back anything up.  Im not Tony or Brian or anyoneelse. 

Funny another thing youve been saying to me is how close to a deal you are, then in the other topic you go on about wanting help as you wont give up untill you have exausted all avenues. So come on what is it?  you nearly there or just trying to make yourself look good again? 

I wont be getting in to another slagging match as ive shown you for what you are, so anyone reading your comments can make up their own minds about you. 

So im not banned and there is no reason for me to be, tho remember  who has been banned from this site before  YOU  LOL

Hi malc pleasant as ever I see !!!! No need for me to exhaust every avenue now . I am home and dry .Thank God it is over for me You are obviously too stupid to realise that some times people get frustrated with the legal process and post how frustrated they are ,that does not make me a liar and I think if you read the post again I did not ask for help .

If  it had come to it I would have exhausted every avenue and if possible that is what I believe others should do .I have always thought and said so .None of the crooks who created this mess should be allowed to get away with it.

You have not shown  me up  at all ,you have shown your self up as a bitter twisted little man  . At least you can admit  that all you were doing was having a slagging match and that what you posted was far worse than what  I did. You have never helped anyone on this forum and only ever posted to slag folk off .So be proud malc be very proud  I am just glad I don't need to bother with the likes of you Tony or Brian ever again and will thank God every day that I will never be neighbours  with such small minded people

I am not close to a deal malc I achieved it today .Done and dusted  .Therefor I am not a liar you are and you are probably the most unhelpful,non productive person on this forum to boot  .

Thanks auntielinda ,My intention was to do a blog as I have kept accurate records/diaries of my whole experience from start to finish .The thing is that you can not name and shame those you would like to  like the agents who treated me appallingly or  the various disgracefully negligent lawyers I encountered before finding a decent one . Haven't got round to reading Sue's book yet but wonder if she named and shamed those involved  in any way even in a cryptic kind of way  .The whole thing  is a mine field  for people. One of the lawyers I used and  found lacking is still on the  consulate list .What chance did we have . 

When all is said and done EOS is a lifeline for many and I have enjoyed being able to share if not always agree with most members .I have been banned many times ,true , but they always let me back on .I was only ever on the naughty stool.  I am  not , as malc would have us all believe some kind of  international keyboard gangster  Pleeeeaase !!!!!!  cheers all and good luck MM

I dont think Sue mentioned anything about anyone in her book I have a copy here will have another look or mybe the author will post a reply to this. I can't wait to read your blog cos I'll know who you mean, we are still awaiting a decision from SGR

You are so right about being able to find decent lawyers etc.  Usually, doing your homework on lawyers, developers etc is enough, but this has still been a lottery - if even the consulate are recommending dodgy lawyers!

Even if we are lucky enough to ever get our money back, I will never buy in Spain again.  We still love the Country, and maybe one day we can spend lots of time there, but this will be for rent only.  I will never put permanent roots there (as was our original goal).

I hope you can now have some closure, as I know from your early posts that this was about more than the money for you.

Congratulations! Will  you be doing anything in your blog about how you managed to get your money back on the property that you didn´t have a bank guarantee for?  I am sure that will be of great interest to those of us who don´t have one and would also like our money back!

In my book, I obviously mentioned the name of the developer and the fact that our lawyer (who I only referred to by her first name) assured us that everything was perfectly legal etc.  I also mentioned the first names of the agents we used.  What I didn´t do (obviously!) is recommend the lawyer or agent, and I stressed the importance of having a bank guarantee and not using a lawyer recommended by your agent.  Obviously I had a deadline to submit the manuscript, so all I could do was relate the situation at that time, however my publisher asked me for an update just before going to print (which is on page 198 on the book) and in this I stated that "our expectations of recouping our losses are low, and we can only hope that by telling our story we have prevented other couples from experiencing similar heartache".  I also mentioned the stories in La Verdad at that time and give two links.  As you say, naming and shaming isn´t always an option, though I mentioned the developer in context, including talk of "possible criminal charges" in the Update.

I started a blog on here, which I am hoping to continue once I have finished articles for "Costa Brava Magazine" and "Mar Menor Focus", and in this I mention San José, but don´t name our solicitor or estate agent.  My publisher is creating another blog for me as well, so that we can check out the amount of interest in two possible book ideas.   Believe me, being retired ain´t easy:  I´m sure I had more free time when I worked!

Knew you wouldn't let me down Sue and as for working harder now you are retired I can say the same but at least now I am doing what I want not what I have to do to earn a living, even though my pension is paying the mrtgage till i get my hands on our cash from SGR

Congragulations, at last you have some good news to share, well done for not giving up. Please continue to post, as you have been the one that has kept this going for months now.

We continue to live in hope and  that one day we can get closure like yourself. It has been a long couple of years for everyone.
