Just got back from a.....meeting and going to another....meeting this afternoon. Great news that's cheered me up - looking forward to the weekend now.

What actual licence has been granted?   First Occupation?  Driving?  Marriage?  Drinks?.

I will only believe it when they suddenly want my money in a big hurry !!!

how come nobody else has been informed of this massive piece of news?  alan, have you spoken to elena yet? i can't get hold of her but i'll keep trying. Lets hope its really happening

 I have no reason to doubt my solicitor,  he has all along never given me any false hope, he has always maintained up until yesterday that he did not know when the licence would be granted. 

I have also been told, although not by my solicitor that Prienesur customer service can  confirm that the licence has indeed been granted.

So, Sorry guys don't want to rain on anyones parade, just ring Prienesur direct if you doubt what I am saying Tel No. 902 23 22 44

Tracey, who posts on The Other Place, has confirmed that she has received confirmation of First Licence.

Laurdan is not the only one so far.

i don't doubt your solicitor has in fact heard something about the licence. just wondered where it had come from amd what exactly it means. if it is talk about them agreeing to issue licence again or the actual licence this time. somebody has to hear first i suppose, lets hope we all get word soon

i got a reply from elena alan saying she doesn't know of the licence, that the developers have not informed her of it but she will ring town hall monday morning when they open to check.

Hi Alan, wondered where you were. 

All I know is what I have posted.  That my solicitor has been in contact with the developer and it would seem they have the licence and they expect to complete next month, which I took as November.  He had no reason to send me that information if it was not correct.  Apparently an official letter is due out to all of us from Prienesur next week, however, I do not know how true this is, but it has been mentioned to me and I have no reason to doubt that what I am being told is the truth.

We shall have to wait for the letter, but that probably wont get here now with the current Royal Mail strike in full swing.

Pdrich1, sorry if it is confusing.  I am Tracey as well as Laurdan. 

So, it would seem I am the only one (or the only one prepared to go live) that has had any communication from solicitor/Prienesur with regards to the licence, well aren’t I the lucky one!!  Alan it must be that Arsenal luck you have mentioned in the past.  We will have to sit tight and see how this unfolds.  I shall contact solicitor first thing Monday and ask him to confirm to me from whom he has spoken.  If the licence has been granted we will most certainly be fast tracked to the bank, to collect our dosh and embark on the rest of the journey.
