My first post.
I had arranged for my solicitor to have power of attorney for my completion in July as I was unable to be there. At the last minute 3 days before completion I managed to get over to check that all was as good as the sales office told me.
Thank goodness I did the property was nowhere near finished and was still like a building site. The quality of what I was told was finished was at best extremely poor and was explained to me by the sales lady as rustic!
With her help I produced a 3 page snagging list however a friend with me involved in property informed me this was not just a snagging issue but extremly poor building and as far as he was concerned could not be fully rectified without considerable work. I told my solicitor not to complete.
I am now told 16 days later that most of the work has been done and they now want me to complete at the end of this month, but I want to check everything first and I cannot get back there till September.
What is worrying me now is if I am still not satisfied what happens then?
