Like many others I have today received an e-mail from Huma Indalo which states that building work will re start on 23rd November 2009
Also an attachment which explained the situation and that the new builders have sufficient resources to build OTCC without bank finance
Also in the PDF is a note from Santander that they are prepared to provide mortage finance to buyers at OTCC
So for those of us who deciided to change to OTCC in 2008 it now seems that we made the right decision
OK it has taken 12 months from the banking/financing problems to get going again and there is still the matter of Bank Guarantees but it must be great news for many like myself
If you have not received the e-mail or PDF or will now contemplate changing to OTCC then please get in touch and I will send you a copy of the PDF

I have e-mailed Carmen this morning asking her to confirm that the builders are actually there.
She has replied saying that the builders are bringing materials on site, and she will upload photos 'very soon'.
Would still like proof but it sounds promising - we will see . . .

All the reports are , and I have had a confirmation e-mail from Claudia, that OTCC did re start on 23rd November
In reality after all the ACC /OTCC problems does anyone with any sense really think that Huma Indalo SL would send out the e-mail and PDF if it was ‘ to be blunt’ a con!!!
And that Santander would allow their statement of mortgage facility to be included in the PDF, if it was not genuine
OTCC does now again seem to be a reality
And I am very pleased that my 54K € is now safe
Only my personal pragmatic view!
Everyone has to make their own decision
And good luck to those who take a different route

Allthough I accept it is good news for those that have transfered across to OCC - I do think to say your money is now safe is maybe - how shall I say it - maybe a little optimisitic. Until the property is built and handed over to you with a habitation certificate or until you have a legitimate BG you money is a long way from being safe.
Also I think a lot of people would think HUMA would send information out about a restart and for it to be a con. I have a lovely big thick coilour brochure in my office from HUMA showing details of a restart in ACC a couple or so years ago - it was very convincing at the time.

You may be correct but I would be surprised if Santander would allow a signed memo from their Almeria Branch to be included in the PDF if it was a con
Now if Dubai investors are involved then we may have a problem!!! or if Santander are up to their neck in Dubai but there are no UK reports that they are
But I do think that on the balance of probabilities my 54K € is now safe
I hope the court cases produce the results but I have always taken the view that there are no free assets in Huma Med to pay me if I won a court case as I took the view that the banks are controlling everything in the background and they get paid first as always!
But I also take the view that if OTCC is a success then the revenue this generates will assist those who go down the court route in getting paid
It appears that Huma Med owns 50% of Huma Indalo or did before this re financing
Another source has told me that he visited the site on 25th and it was raining and no one working but Carmen on site did say that the builders are back
This of course confimrs nothing but I am in Spain on 14th December 2009 for a few days and I will have a look

With regards to money being safe, wasnt it safe anyway ?
There was an Insurance Policy that you posted very positively about Rowlandsbb that protected your money and you said was almost as good as a BG ?
What has happened to that insurance policy ?
Couldn`t you or other buyers claim off it now and buy cheaper ( much much cheaper ) elsewhere? A property that is built , you can walk into and look at and has ALL the correct paperwork?
There are free assets. I know, I got one only recently.
You are right HUMA MED owns 50 per cent of HUMA INDALO!
So past postings about them being two seperate Companies, unconnected etc etc have just been proved wrong.
Also postings about ACC money not being used to fund OCC have just been proved wrong.

If huma med own half of huma indalo, we should all hope oasis goes ahead, our lawers can then go after the occ to get back the money huma med stole from us at acc...............does anyone know how many refunds of 40/100.000e huma stole at acc .

Waiting for a refund is like the hopefulls at oasis waiting for huma to deliver the promised broken contractual (con-actual) property,s,lucky if you get one but if you are waiting then it is a long waiting game!
Other than that a statury demand for payment followed by a bankrupcy petition could force them to pay up or go pop! could be interesting!

Hi people
I don't wish any more misfortune on anybody who has been on the rocky road with me at acc etc but I am curious if Huma have started building at occ.
Going by the lack of posting would i be right in saying that you have been let down yet again?????????

Rowlandsb confirmed it started on the 23rd November. That is 3 weeks ago so surely it will be finished by now!!! Or not as the case may be. Also sorry to be cynical, but have been waiting for the restart to be confirmed. I know Rowlandsb said he was in Spain this month so I expect he will be checking.

As there is no building going on at OCC and ACC id dead in the water I would like to pose the following question for debate. At least it will give us something to chat about until building starts.
Or hell freezes over.
Anyway the question is this:
Which stands the better chance of repairing their reputation?
(A) Tiger Woods
(B) Huma ( Either Company)
Please give reasons for your answers.
