sorry not been able to get on this site all day, seems ok now Ward & Co property solutions state
" We advise our clients to vote in favour of HTDs proposal, we beleive it to be fundamentally flawed and that regardless of the companies intentions, even if the proposal is accepted HTD will be unable to deliver on the promises it is making."
Also they say HTD owes 81 million € and they value the land at Jumilla at 200 million € . But after trying for the last 2 years AGGRESIVELY trying to sell it the best offer it received was 10 million €. Securing funding for a company with over 80 million € worth of creditors would be difficult with land that is only worth a fraction of this figure, No bank or company will consider this. the task is impossible.
then they say they could provide me with another property that is already complete, a pre- agreed mortgage and a current valuation and an allowance of up to 30% of its value in EXCHANGE FOR YOUR EXISTING SAN JOSE CONTRACT.
YEP ANOTHER GREAT OFFER SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE

Are you sure you've posted correctly they have avised you to vote in favour ?
If the best offer is 10 million why don't we get together and offer them10.5 million and we could have a massive building plot each.

We also received this letter from Ward and Co.
It does state that they advised their clients to accept the offer.
How they got our details i would love to know as we have never had any dealings with them and do not plan to in the future!
All sounds too good to be true.

The offer to vote yes so HDT.con can get 51% of the creditors toatal debt, and then come out of administration. I think that sounds ok. What i put in my last post was copied exactly from the letter i got from Ward & Co

Hi - as a resident of Playa Golf and (since moving to Spain) an estate agent, I keep a close eye on this thread.
Please be very careful if you are dealing with Andrew Ward and his company. I bought my house through them when they were trading as Smart Investor Services and they lied through their teeth about everything, ie:
- They promised to pay me a year's mortgage and then paid much less than that
- they said I needed to buy a hugely expensive furniture pack at the insistence of the rental company which was going to find me tenants - the rental company later said this was a lie, and I then found out the furniture company was owned by Andrew Ward's company
- they said I would get 15% capital growth per year, knowing that the market had been falling for months
- they said I would get 30 - 40 weeks rentals per year - the rental agency got me 1 week in the first year!
I find it rich that they are saying HdT "will be unable to deliver on the promises they are making".
I made lots of mistakes when I bought with Andrew Ward and, yes I was very gullible to be taken in by them. This deal may be worth looking at but do be careful! San Jose still have a few properties to sell on Playa Golf and there are lots of resales too which are at very low prices, so do your homework before you decide which way to jump.
I count myself as fortunate, in that I love my house and I am happily settled here now so it all worked out for me in the end.
....and the fact that I have about 60,000€ of negative equity doesn't keep me awake at night any more!

Thank you for posting this interesting information. At least its factual and offers some inteligent advice. As you may be aware if you have been keeping an eye on this thread there is a lot of dross and negativity and at times I cant believe what is said by fellow brits to fellow brits. Its almost as if some are eagerly awaiting our failure. As I see it we all made the same mistake of trusting the builder etc and we all have to fight our battles to put things as right as we can taking into consideration that a lot has happended in 4 years since this nightmare began. I dont post on here very often because of the continuing thoughtlessness of a few who spoil this forum.
So Claire thank you and hopefully you will post any information that you think will be informative.

Quite right Chrissie, Claire T has become a friend who helped us source our exchange property on Playa without any financial gain to herself . Solid Gold lady who asks nothing but gives much if she can help.. and she most certainly did help!

In answer to your question we are supposed to be hearing at the end of June but this as always is not written in stone. It will probably be when spain has its holidays. Not holding my breath.

I have had a lettter from a guy called Maurice at Apolo properties (thats how they spell it). Does this company ring any bells with you? When I rang him he said he had got my details from the list at the courts !!!!! weird. It seems they all want a piece of nothing.

Hi Chrissie1 - I don't know that name but the spelling is the same as the street name in Torrevieja, so they may have an office there. I will ask my colleagues at the office tomorrow as between us we know most of the local estate agencies.
Can I ask what they were offering?

Looks like they are based in Santomera, Murcia. They have properties for 240,000euros but are offering a discount of 40,000euros. Large townhouses 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms etc with huge undeground garage. The mortgage apparently can be made by Bankers Draft or a mortgage can be arranged. Price of course includes white goods,all trunking for AC and wait for it a fully fitted kitchen. The MD of the company is a Lawyer. Forgot to mention this all includes a communal swimming pool.
Needless to say I dont believe a word of it. Mr Maurice (who lives in Devon UK) and Co can obviously take a hike. Sorry if I sound like its not a bargain in the present climate but truth is I dont. Its more about trust with me now if you get my drift.
Thanks again Claire. I suppose there will be every Tom, Dick & Harry sending letters out like this just got to dodge the sharks dum dum dum dum (my impression of jaws).

Hi again Chrissie1 - the boss has never heard of them but we don't have many contacts in Murcia so that doesn't really mean much.
My only comment on the property you mention is that these large houses would normally have their own pool and that would be important when you came to sell, if you ever wanted to. Can't really comment on price without knowing more details, particularly the plot size, but certainly here on the coast prices are very very low just now.

yes i want my money back, great news if they can continue to trade then i will sue the pants of them for the return of my money plus interest and damages watch out hdt & san jose i will not settle until these crooks are put behind bars!!

Hew1 I agree with you. But why go alone on this. Would the 50% of the no voters be better as a group and take a group action against HDT. This has to be a better way.
