Its a con, they are saying the first 25 people the membership fee is free, we have been out at work all day struggling to make ends meet and survive here, only to find this out when we got home 10 minutes ago, so we had no chance. it should be all owners of property here on Taray, they are taking the piss.

I personally think Taray or the council should get the place cleaned up before they start charging us extorsionate rates to use the pool. The gardens and roads around here are a disgrace and lack of road safety, some people are still going round the one way the wrong way and some in totally illegal uk registered cars, its a shambles.

Most communities with a communal pool pay for it in their council tax and I know of some very high costs of these taxes on urbanisations, thats why your council tax fees are so cheap. I expect full well to pay to use the pool but not at these rates, its ridiculous.

I have just got home from work in the UK & printed off the English version of the price list & it says on the bottom that the first 25 members won't have to pay the membership fee- What chance do we have when we are in the UK?? Surely this should have been circulated to our presidents prior to opening???

Glad to hear that at least some people have some self respect and will not get down on their knees to Taray.
No business sense at all to make this offer. Idiots. Whilst 25 will be gloating and rubbing it in peoples faces you have the other 300 left disgusted as you say Rosita. Only Taray could make such a stupid offer after telling lie after lie and then only certain people will lap it up and forgive them because they get something free for themselves.

If this is true,
"Kirsty has spoken to Antonio today and he has said that he will honour the deal (1st 25 free membership) for all Taray home owners who wish to become members"
does this mean we all get membership free whether you pay the very expensive annual fee or not, as I have said I feel cheated and am pi--ed off with Taray, wish I'de bought a corner plot and built my own bloody pool,
Martin

Let's hope a minimal take up of membership will change the charges for the better for us all whether residents or non-residents. Has anyone heard from their President on this issue? We haven't but as non-residents we only get info. third hand anyway down to the kindness of our neighbours. It would be great if we could show Taray the strength of feeling from all of us so that they know that this is the straw that has finally broken the camel's back!!!
Nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say!

As a family of 3 who live and work here in Spain we have decided to take advantage of the offer now that they are including grandparents etc into the equation. We worked out that if we use it on average 4 times per week this equates to less that €1 each per visit which for us is extremely good value. Even better value when my mum or inlaws visit and they can also use it. That is the reason we joined especially with the added incentive of no membership fee, which I believe has been extended to include all Taray home owners.
We would probably waste that amount in fuel and time traveling to Torre Pacheco or San Javier and in reality will use the facilities more with them being on our doorstep. Imagine a rainy Sunday in winter what choices are there...Dos Mares - no thanks, watch dvds or have a swim in the under cover pool - that's where we'll see the value.
