As owners of properties on Manzana 9 (cl Aantares 3) its wonderful news that TARY have ofloaded the phase one pool problem on us again. Whilst we sypathize with the community on phaze 1, would it not be courtious for someone to ask us for our views,as we are the ones who clear up the pool area in the evening when all our guests have left.

NORM.B - I was very interested to read your reply on EOS.  I fully agree with you as to why you have not been consulted by Taray over the problem - have you ever known Taray consult any of us or even have any consideration at all for their clients  We as a family have had to wait nearly four years for our pools to be provided despite them being part of our original contract with Taray.

I did use the pool on Manzana 9 once last year with a couple of friends, but we were very careful to take away any rubbish and leave the area as we found it.  Do think of the poor people living on the earlier Manzanas who are out there in that heat and, once again, have no pools they can use.  Perhaps a letter to the council might help as well but I doubt it.  The story is that the council are holding up finishing the landscaping around the pools due to an election?

Since dealing with Taray I have changed from an optimist to a pessimist!!

Pinot

Do you think we want to use the pool on phase 9 ! we have paid a lot of hard earned cash to buy on phase 1 and have waited and waited for our facilities, when it is up and running wonder if we will be saying the same thing. Love that community spirit { I'm alright jack}

i think most of us feel the same frustrations about the pool, and sadly it takes the shine off for when it is finaly complete. its so frustrating that we cant realy take any action against taray or the council. the attitude from both is a disgrace. i dont think they give a damm what a difference it has made to peoples quality of life here. the constant dissapointment for guests an family, not to say ourselves. i go from periods of pure anger to wanting to cry with shere frustration . i wonder if an action group of some sort would get us any where?sympathy to phase 9 an all those suffering this heat with no pool.

well said norm we have a place in anteres and after the idiots from phase one abusing our pool and  leaving rubbish, lights from in the pool placed on the side and them climbing over the fence early hours of the morning and throwing the so called life guards chair and table in the pool of which i notified quino of this and was told it would not happen again, i am sorry to say this but they do not deserve the right to use it again and i have emailed Alicia at taray about this and we should have been asked if we would allow them to use it again, i would have said no way as last year it was a pee take, my son is over at the momment and counted a lot of people in and around the pool today, far to many as it results to a danger to everyone{health and safety} there laws are the same as uk. no way should they have the privelge again sorry.

 Whispers,

Unless you can prove it was the so called 'idiots' on phase one that threw the chair and table in the pool I would be careful about making such statements. I'm sure that if the roles were reversed and we had a pool and you didn't, you be over to phase one like greased lightning !!!!!!

I understand your frustration but it's the whole sad and sorry saga that is causing the problem in the first place.

Once the licence business with the council is sorted and we can use our pool which we paid for 5 years ago, then you will all on your own and have your pool all to yourselves.

Remeber that the proceeds and profits from building phase one went to building phase two so in effect our hard earned money funded your lovely pool in the first place !!!!!!!!

I can only apologise on behalf of all the phase one owners who treat your pool area as if it was their own ie take their rubish away with them and leave it as they found it but as usual there's always a couple of bad apples!!!!

hello all....

I live on manzana 9 and last year it was noted that there was some children around my husbands car and his tire was let down...to-day I saw that ball games are allowed....this shud not be as it can be dangerous to other people....i think there should be some proper pool rules laid down as it apears to be a free 4 all and not all people are there to use the pool but just to sunbath...

I would like to ask why we only found out to-day that its open sun till mon11.00 till 7.30 with no 2 hour break for us to use OUR  pool in peace!!!

and sicknote..we brought our pool out of the money we paid for our places. thats why they where so expensive!!!  if you note they have not finished of the tilling round the showers and the seat!!

PS..if my dog barks at you dont shout at her as she lives here..you are guests..please remember that!!! thank-you!!xxx

We agree if the sales on phase 1 hadn't been bought, phase two wouldn't exist, not everyone abuses facilities, don't judge everyone the same. We have never used your blessed pool, we went to the beach. can;t wait when finally complete. You can have it all to yourselves, or will you be graceing the new complex.  will there be signs up next    Priority should be  getting the council to do the job our community is paying for.  Our presidents are doing everything they can to get the council to act, without this hassle as well.

Joan working on your logic then we who have purchased at a premium cost on phase  2 must have provided the finances to construct the pool complex on phase 1. We do not object to to helping out the hot and sweaty comunaty on phase 1, we object to the way it has been thrust upon us after being assured by TARY that last year was a one off. Your presidants must have known that this may have been an option ,why did they not contact one of our residents ?  Some comunity spirit shown by your elected representitives !

well said norm....and yes if signs need to go up to ensure the saftey of the children due to lack of adult responsible supervision, eg parents and lifegaurd, then so be it...but ball games should not be played..only soft water balls...act responsibly and no-one will get hurt!!!

I agree with nonnie, we should have some proper pool rules laid down. Every one has the rights to have a nice pleasant, quiet surroundings to live or spent their holidays. I think we, as owners of Manzana 9, we should collectively set up a community pool rules for our pool to cover issues regards health, safety and tidiness.

I would suggest that after the owners of Manzana 9 have agreed with the rules, we can have a board made and hanging it on the entrance of our pool so that our guests or tenants know what is being expected when they have entered the pool area.

For some points we can perhaps ask Taray to get involved, like making the board and hanging it up. Since some units of Manzana 9 have not been sold yet, it would also be their own interests to keep the community area looking attractive. Please send me a PM if you think this is a good idea.

Hi

Our President is having a meeting with the council this week along with others to bring up the License issue and when we can actually use it, and other issues we pay for in our community, that are not being done, so hopefully we will know this week, we are over 2nd August, so fingers crossed, otherwise we are going to the beach, think the mucipal pool opens June but only certain times which are displayed.

They have now rebuilt the wall where they were entering and leaving the pool area and they have seeded the whole area around the pool we have put some photos on the site which shows this and some of the grass which is already growing. as for the rear of the building they haave cleared most of the area and have put what we think is two pentang courts.  Also there seems to be  a artium in side the building as there are plants planted in side the building.

May I just say that with regards the council doing things around the site ie street cleaning, one of the things we should all be doing is to make sure we are all on the padron as this is how the town hall allocates the money that it collects from the "council tax", in other words we pay them the money and they look at the padron and decide where the money will be spent, so the more people on the padron in this area ie San Cayetano the more money will be  spent here.  If you are already on the padron sorry if this seems like teaching granny to suck eggs, but if you are not then the quicker you are on it the better.

Hi All,

Off subject, sorry. Does anyone know John Walsh from Ireland, staying at Calle Nectarina. His family have been trying to get hold of him for the last fee days without success. This is unusual for John. Has anyone seen him recently?
