Once again, thank you for your updates - as has been said before, they are invaluable to those of us who unfortunately are not able (yet!) to be permanently resident in SC. We will be over next month and look forward to seeing all the progress made.

H&D, Many thanks for the update on the meeting you had with Taray. Certainly sounds as if it is going to be well worth waiting for when it is all finished.
Will be over next month to see all the progress. Thanks to everyone for keeping us all in the picture. This has been invaluable and very much appreciated.

Thanks for that H&D, would you be able to point out which part of the building is going to be used what purpose as I just can't visualise it yet no matter what angle I look at it from. Also do you know if they have planned a roof terrace on top of the building? When I was walking past the other day I thought that it might be quite a nice idea.....a little bit like Jaoquin's roof. Or maybe it would be too intrusive on the properties close to it? Was only a fleeting thought.
What I can visualise though is cooling off in the pool when the heat of the high summer sun beating down becomes too much to bear!!! Can hardly wait now its so close to completion.

Thanks to everyone who has kept us posted with the pool developments. Do we know yet how much it is going to cost us to use any or all of the facilities? Am I right that Taray are going to be the 'operators' on behalf of the Local Mayor?

They are now putting window frames into the building also it would appear that he childrens pool is going to have some form of water jets in it as they have laid a network of pipes under the gravel in the bottom and there are pipes standing up right from these.
Will keep all you in he UK up to date as things happen.

Hello all,
I have just posted a few more pics on the site. I have just spent two weeks on site and kept a close eye on proceedings. Most days there would be up to 10+ workers on site working at best at a snails pace but at least they are working.

Thanks for the info and pictures. I guess it will not be finished by 30 June as I believe we were promised.
Any idea when we will be able to swim in the pool and how much it will cost us?

The actual pool may be finished in time, the only thing needed is the rest of the tiles , hooking up the required machinery and filling it with water. That being the case we would be swimming in the middle of a building site, the landscaping has not even been thought about and the clubhouse wont be ready i suspect.
As for cost we have been told different versions, we will be charged a nominal fee each time we use...or there will be a pass to be purchased yearly per household. I have no idea which will be implemented as when you speak to anyone at Taray they cant or wont give straight answer to any question

Hi
Do you know if the pool will be open all day when it is finally finished, as the one we can use until ours is built we have been told will be shut like the other one for the villiage.
We rang Fran at Taray, he told us our pool will take another two months to finish

Hi All
Not sure if this has been mentioned but passes are available free at the moment from Taray to use the pool at the Manzana 9.1 there is also a life gaurd at the pool. We have been advised that this is until the pool on phase 1 is available.

Hi all just come back, Got passes and went to the pool, yes them times are correct. If I was you I wouldn`t bother it looked so dirty that me and my husband didn`t go in, but my son did. 24 hour later my son head was in pain, on returning home we took him to the dentist and he told us he`s got a really bad mouth infection which he said the pool could have been the cause. We have now been back a week tomorrow and he is still suffering so be very careful.

I came back from San Cayetano some 10 days ago and we all used the pool up by Manzana 9 - it was great and very clean. It was open from 10:30 - 13:30 and 16:30 to 19:30 at that time. My family are coming out soon for nearly three weeks and I have certainly recommend they use the passes and swim in this pool.
Certainly would hope things haven't deteriorated!
