Good Morning everyone, Is there any further news as to when the pool will be operational please? With the family coming over in about a months time, they would love to use the facility during their stay.

The latest news that we received from our chairman is that the council wont sign licences until all work is completed. Looks like it wont be open by the tim i come over this sunday. The kids will be disappointed. Hope its ready for you next month.

I have been told will most likley be open september....not what n e one wants to hear but the municipal pool opend last week............dont know the times tho....

i have received a email from antonio at taray telling me that they have had the meeting at the town hall today and have a few minor adjustments to make and the complex will be open very soon a lot early than they predicted, and to ignore all the dates sujested on this site they are issuing the dates and fees and times on their web site of which the adress will be availiable if you inquire, as i have.  

Looking at the taray.es website and cant see anything about the pool.Maybe im not looking in the right section. Can you let everyone know what address you are using to get this information.

The information from Taray will be available sometime after Wednesday of this next week - ie 13th/14th July.

They will advise all residents/owners by way of their e-mail addresses (if supplied) and will give details of the opening date of the pool and its facilities,  the times of opening - plus the pricing schedule.

As they rightly pointed out, the pool being closed is costing them more than if it were open and they are rushing to get everything finalised as quickly as possible..

 Have put a photo of a notice from Taray put up by one of the presidents you will have to click on it to enlarge it to make it readable.  Hope this helps.

Having read it I can honestly say that for the first time in a very long time I am feeling optimistic about the "Taray Enjoy Centre"!  Can't say I am sold on the name but as they say "what's in a name"??  Main thing is seeing the site open and being used by us all.  Will be over next week so perhaps we will be there for the opening!

Colin and I  would also like to thank Mo and Bryan  for all the info and pictures,  over the the year its nice to be able to keep up with whats happening, while we are in rainy Manchester.

 Thank you for your comments we know what it is like back in england and wondering what is happening over here, so hopfully our little notes now and then make things easier.  Hope to see you all over soon for a drink and a swim in the new pool complex.

 It was a joke, like the Spanish always say Manana (tomorrow) with a hyphon over the 1st n.

Manyana is the English way of saying and spelling it.

Joan - have heard that it could be 1st August but don't know if this is carved in stone!!

Hello Folks, i am very pleased to anounce that as of yesterday Jim and Tracey, formally of the Rose N Thistle have just been given the keys to the Bar in the new Paddel and swimming leisure area in San Cayetano. Taray are looking to open the pool area this coming Saturday to all, the bar will hopefully be open by the middle of August. Will confirm very soon the actual opening date for the bar.

            Looking forward to seeing Old and new faces very soon.
