Shane is not the person you should be speaking to nor is the society.
The buggies are rented out by global golf (in the golf shop)
Global golf rent them out and they have many rules which most are not aware of . They are not posted anywhere (except rules on the buggy window regarding use on the course).
If I have a buggy I would park it in the penthouse parking area, and i would assume that it is the same in the jardines.
You need to contact global golf, and It may even be a problem to be discussed with mileniun - I am sure you are not allowed to drive your car across the gardens.

Who is Shane?2 buggies driving through our garden and then racing through j12 so asking the golfers amongst you what are the protocols ? is this allowed? concerned about damage and injury especially asthey where driven at speed

Shane is SMV is an owner/member who occasionally visits CDA (from New Zealand!)
Protocols? The society have no control over this. These may be society members or not. Either confront them yourself if you see it or ring golf shop on 968328008.
Obviously we do not condone it but as these are probably visitors or renters this changes weekly. They will not be residents.
If the society briefed this, the wrongdoers would already be gone. It should not be necessary to inform golfers about this. No one drives their car on the grass.
Use correct channels -
1st confront them
2nd Ring global golf
3rd Ring security

thanks for that, I would not believe they would be society as I am sure members know the protocols . I do not. so I asked for your advice. I have confronted them and they then drove off into j12, will ask olagolf if they make hirers aware not to drive in garden, thanks for your help

A few posts due this week - photos from Bolneuvo night out Friday, more photos and results from the gala day at the Condado Club on Sunday (good fun day), progress on the temporary clubhouse, and a preview of the Seve Trophy this Friday. I will add all these as soon as possible.

The Condado Gala Day and all other fund raising activities have been a huge success,
all this will culminate on Friday the 11th May 2012, see below;

Evening Presentation @ 7.30 pm 11th May 2012
Bistro Bulgaria
The Presentation will be held in the Al Kasar Restaurant,
Guest’s will then be invited to order a meal at a discounted rate,
(on production of their membership card).

The Auction and Raffle Draw
Will take place @ 10.15 pm
Entertainment resumes until 1 am.
