Hi All
Please note that next sunday 19th August, there is a Fiests golf comp hear on Condado, We have got normal society rates of 35 euros walking, if you want a buggy please book these in golf shop.
Thereis a trophy and replica for the winner sponsered by Global Golf and divisional prices sponsered by the Clover bar and Golf society.
There is also the normal society comp on Friday the 17th.
Anyone wanting to play in the fiests comp can email me there details at cathkevin123@hotmail.co.uk or if you are on Condado now there is a list in the Clover and one in the golf shop just add your name and handy cap.(max 28)

Yes all residents and their guests can join. It is 5 euros a year (renew April 1st) and you can join Wednesday night at the roll-up meeting at 7pm in the Clover. Membership card gives you discount at Hacienda del Alamo golf club also.
On first competition we will need to see a handicap certificate.
You can play as frequently or infrequently as you wish.

As you say Barry, prices of food for what you get will not encourage punters to spend. Last time I was at El Valle the exchange rate was not as good as now and the food was certainly poor value for money. These people never seem to learn from their mistakes and react to what the customer wants. They like to portray themselves as upmarket but offer second rate quality & second rate service and everyone in the party I was with (El Valle residents & course members in the main) felt the same way. Only one way to go with this blinkered attitude I am afraid.................................down the pan.

Yes. about 10 days ago maybe a tad longer. we got back to the UK on Sunday AM, played twice last week, and although a bit sandy and bumpy they are still better than other courses in the area that have recently been tined

Last week was the Ryder Cup event staged over 2 days at Aguilon golf. We had 3 society members from Condado who qualified for the team. Dave Lloyd has produced an excellent report with pictures.
