I have just edited my message as I have now  read your posting properly and it has now sunk in what you are actually saying. Me and my son Ryan still want to play even though it has changed to saturday. I will PM you to confirm. Please keep up the good work, you, along with a good few others are playing a blinder putting our resort on the map. It can only benefit all of us in the long run.

The news and information you provide is invaluable to those of us who cannot get out very often.  Thanks for all your hard work.

Well done you two, shows what can be achieved by willingness, I wish I was there to help.

Gutted I am missing "Captains Day" it sounds as though it will be a success, I really hope so.

I am over on Oct 1st for 7 weeks, n doubt we will meet up, possibly in our new clubhouse. I look forward to hearing all about what has gone on since my last visit in May. We could maybe discuss having an "Anniversary Tournament" around 3rd week in Jan to celebrate the societies first year (original meet up 19th Jan 2009) it would be nice to meet up and play with our winter golf members.

The society has come a long way since then and you both deserve congratulations, See you soon.

Sounds a good idea either anniverary of 1st meeting in Jan or 1st comp Feb 5th. Come a long way from a dozen members then to over 250 in the past 6 months.

Hello All

Having just read some of the comments regarding club house etc i cant help but wonder on a few things. Im sure Ola Golf wish to get the club house up and running asap but find it kind of strange that before there is even a brick layed that we are already talking of 2 bars one for members and society and one for the public.Whos idea is it to have society and members seperate from public?. Surely it would be best to have one good bar busy with all people ranther than 2 half empty bars. I have no doubt the guys running the society are doing a great job for the society but the resort is more than the golf society.Who is going to tell property owners they can or cant enter one bar as they may not be members.Having visited the club house on Camposol a few times i dont see them having a members and non members bar.Apart from anything else if these bars were seperate it would result in the upkeep/staff being double.Its only my opinion of course but before we go and start the us and them attitude i think it would be best for all if the bar was for all people on Condado to use not just some.

Myself and Graham run the golf society and at no time have we requested this. This was informed to us in a meeting with the manager, I think it encourages people to join the society and it is for golfers involved as such. I am sure the public bar will be better than the facilities provided for golfers so I do not think you are losing out.

Come down to clover at 7pm Wednesday and meet me and Graham, plus many other players who will be there. Singles this week but will fix you up with 3 other players. 30E for green fee and 2E for comp. Just need your handicap. Play every Friday (main comp) but some also play Monday more informally at same rate.

Not playing Friday 13th - having captains day Saturday August 14th with lots of prizes.
