Hello Everyone in the group with Costa lawyers. I believe we all have now the letter from lawyers detailing steps of the process and cost.
Regretably, I have been informed that I cannot be part of the group as I had no involvement / relation with Palmera. After my efforts of finding you all, I am all alone again!! I have confirmed to the lawyers my acceptance of their letter. I know there is more money going out of my pocket but the way I see this scenario is that we cannot sit still any longer - to a degree it is a risk, I know, but I am confident the outcome will be positive for all of us.
I will keep in touch with developments.

Dont know about anyone else but we have received nothing from the solicitors after sending all the documents.
Just got back from Spain saw the site again very sad sight now, its in a very bad vandalised state open to whoever,how they have let it come to this is beyond me a simple lock could have prevented this my view now is that it might as well be bulldozed as it will take many weeks and lots of cash to put it right.

That sounds like one sorry place now. Good luck to the new group with your legal action. We are acting alone and making a little progress, but still some way from finding out about any payback, there are court procedures ahead of us. Will post any progress.

Danny, try sending a message to 'babsy' as I believe they are in the group. Scroll down this page and you will see a message from babsy, send a message via the private message route. We've been quoted 10% win or lose and it takes quite a while for the process to happen, good luck.

Morning all
J B Costa are asking us for a decision as to whether we are going to join the action group or not. I have my reservations and am still undecided. Can anyone advise whether they are definitely joining the group?

I am afraid that I am not going ahead as I feel I will be only throwing good money after bad. I don't believe that there is much chance of getting money from either Urbassa or Palmera. So I will just draw a line under my losses so far. I wish the rest of you luck in your quest because I believe that you are going to need it. Kev

Thanks Kev, those are my thoughts too - we don't want to throw good money after bad for the hope that maybe one day in the distant future we'll see something of our money. I think we are going to decline too and make the long awaited decision to cut our losses and move on.

We hant heard a thing from them as yet, this after phone calls and sending over all our documents this was around 6 weeks ago, maybe it is time now to just accept we have been well and truly done and try to move on.

Hi All
Yes - i have decided to go with the group action - i have had mixed thoughts like everyone but thought i will give it one go at trying to get this money back - i know it could be possibly throwing out good money on top of what has already gone just to receive nothing but i think its a gamble i feel i have to take as i know i will not get it on my own accord. Anyone else going for it........babsy
