What's the best deal?

Hi All

Just spoken to some friends of ours who live over there, and our friend told me he went into Urbasa office last Thursday on our behalf and asked what the position is, they told him that they had put our building out to builders tenders and as soon as they had tenders back then work would recommence. He said they said we shouldnt worry that they would finish the building, but who knows!

lets just hope ya freinds are right misty

urbasa did say they are going to start the work in july so i suppose we dont have long to wait to see if they are lieing to us again or not

i personally think we all need to go and see urbasa in spain in august if no work as been done and arange  a meeting with them to sort this mess out

i say august because they said they are going to start the work in july and finish by november

its just another waiting game, i am waiting for the reply to my email to laura i have asked her for the builders name and phone number if she doesnt know this then i suppose they dont have the builders

if they dont have any builders then i guess we are all in deep s_ _ _  

Hi guys, guess we wait very little else until contract expires, still be good if between us we can pin them down, but last 2 years they are pretty good at avoiding these issues.

Hi all, we cannot see work starting in july as we were led to believe that no building work gets done in july and august due to the heat, I reckon their just fobbing us off again.

we have all got a lot of money to lose here and i think its about time we got propper answers without taking the piss

who are these builders and when are they starting

there as been no reply to my email this morning so i have rang them , she is suppose to be ringing me back

i will let you all know what she says if she rings

we really want to know who the builders are  and there phone numbers if any one else wants to ring them

i have just got of the phone with laura she said it is not true about urbasa going bankcrupt she told me urbasa have had problems but little by little they have sorted them out she said they had problems with the banks the builders and the town hall but they have sold some properties and land and they are back on track

they are having meetings  at the moment with different builders and are looking for the best prices and workmanship

she told me she will have more news in 2 weeks time so i told her i would ring her back

i dont see much point in going out there at the moment because it doesnt seem anything as changed and we will proberbly just get the same answers  - BUT IF YOU ARE STILL GOING JPD GOOD LUCK

ps   she also said all the offices are open and if they was going to go bankcrupt they would be closed which i suppose makes sence

i have just had a email from the people i bought the property from it says :

A member of our staff visited the site last week and there was no
building work going on and the building was in the same state as you saw
it when you were over last.

We have spoken to the Builder and they have stated that work is going to
commence very soon but they have been saying this for the past year!
However it is good to hear the Builder is still in operation which I
suppose gives us a little glimmer of hope, even though it is not helping
our current situation.

I understand your decision and if you decide to cancel from the Contract
then please speak to your Lawyer (Rodas Consulting) to organise this on
your behalf but it will be a long process either way

i sent them a email to ask what is going on and if it carries on like this i was thinking of cancelling

Hi all  just to keep you informed have spoken to solicitor and they are looking into the situation again. The main question is what happens to the site if they do go bankrupt. If it goes to the bank  do they have to honour our contracts with Urbasa, if they do we will still get our apartments  eventually. Our solicitor is getting back to us as to whether it would be worth us going over and having a meeting at Urbasa. To be honest they still could just tell us a pack of lies unless I pin him up against the wall by his throat? ..........Now there's a thought.

I await their call. our solicitor has been stuck at the Notory all morning and the next thing they will close for the day at siesta time. Wont hold my breath on getting an answer today!! If I do I will let you know

hi all - we have just got back from Almoradi - the office is still open in Almoradi, but no work going on. we got in about 2 weeks ago - no security but seems to be more building stuff in there.

a workman came out on the tusday - we went past twice a day & you could tell that someone was going in & out, the basement has almost been drained

laura in almoradi told us that the building had been built too quickly & that is why we think we should be in, but she also said that they have until october to finish - time will tell

Hi lucydog, was it a workman coming out on Tuesday, or someone having a wonder round looking for something to vandalise?

Was there more building stuff than on the photos from April that Dave posted (Skinner) we went last week and it looked the same  inside as when we were in in April .

Thats a new line Laura is now saying eh? 'The building has been built too early',what ever next. Bless her she is just saying anything to keep us all off her back.

Have you all been on Urbasas site and see how they have drawn the pictures of Amarion III. ' there are lovely fitted kitchens and beautiful bathrooms' mmmmmnnn I'll shut up now!!!!

Another two weeks. Hey Phil I think that must be Urbassa's magic number, that is all they seem to say to us, two weeks, two weeks. UGH. ???

I think John may have the solution. That is, pinning people up by their throats.

And they can say what they like about starting the build to early, it starts with the letter from the town hall to the contractor, the ACTA DE REPLANTEO E INICIO DE OBRA . So that's a load of Bull Shiiit

If Urbassa go bankrupt, and it go's back to the bank, it all depends on how much they are owed. They will probably sell it off to the highest bidder, and that will be that. I don't think we would come into the equasion then. We were meant to have a bank security on this property but that never materialised, although i asked Palmeira for this more than once HUH no surprise there then. Can't see us getting it now.

Anyway that's my little rant and rave over with
