Yes, I see! We have searched our internal pictures of the building at christmas and there is no crane there as far as we can see! Surely we would not miss a tower crane?? Also the hole we gained access through in the floor slab is the crane mounting point. You have got us thinking now!!
Kerrie you thought the crane was not there on Tuesday didn't you? Haydn can you remember when we were in there if the crane was there?
Hope we are not building all your hopes up for nothing. We will post the internal one from Christmas. Its taken from the car park entrance end and the crane looks like its swimming pool end!

Hi Phil, if you look at your photo on shared photos number 25021, it looks like the crane comes out of the lift shaft. So we wouldn.t have seen it inside would we!! None of us noticed that crane at Christmas though. Can anyone else who has been since say, summer last year remember if it was there. I know its not a major thing, but, we were hoping it meant work would soon commence!

Hi hopefuls ,the crane looks like the one that's been there all the time. looking at all the photos posted I don't think it has moved. when we went in at Xmas, with your help John, you could not see it on the inside don't ask why but I did not notice it while inside but I was a little excited at being able to go in. On a different subject, have any of you been on the estate agents only thread? when it first opened I went on and to upset them called them all a load of timeshare graduated salesmen . I did apologise to the, in my opinion, very few honest ones and of corse the hard working Justin. One of them now admits to having dodgy friends . Hope he sees this as I can not post on that thread. sorry Justin if I'm again out of order

Hi lucydog, you were lucky to get in with James!!! Every time we went we asked to go in and were told the builders would not let us on site. James did try for us bless him. Have PM you how we got in dont know if its still pos. Good luck, dont forget to let us know if you see any action please!
Hi Haydn, we read your post, dont worry we all have our opinions to air dont we ha ha! We have been'spoilt' going with a bad estate agent havent we. Sure there are very good ones out there. Good and bad in all areas of life eh?
We went in to pick up our power of attourney (spelling?) and original NIE numbers from Palmera this week to give to new solicitor and when we said that Urbasa need chasing with a big stick, the poor girl said 'yes a very very big stick' ! Our solicitor had heard of Palmera too and didn't have a good word to say! Maybe we just got the short straw both times, agent and builder?

Hi all, just a little bit of hopeful news. We were in Tesco's at the weekend and got talking to a guy who'd bought a property in Spain, he was buying up all the reduced continental plugs that's how we got chatting. Turns out he'd bought through Palmera Properties (when they were Spanish Property Guide based at Westcliff-on-Sea, same as us). He said he'd been through hell and the property was finished two years four months late, but when he finally got it he was pleased with the condition and the estate agent was helpful when the completion stage was reached. He'd used his own choice of Spanish lawyer not Palmera's and now has it let. Property on the Costa Almeria. Amber

We can't be a hundred percent sure but we don't remember seeing the crane on Sunday and you can't miss it. We even went on the roof terrace when we were there and I certainly didn't notice it and its our end of the building - it is at the pool end of the building. So hopefully we haven't built hopes up - my thoughts on this though are that cranes cost a lot of money I can't imagine Urbasa leaving it stood still for over a year doing nothing but who knows - we will wait and see what news anyone brings back. When we went to Urbasas office in Elche it was very plush they obviously have got money somewhere

Hi Manana, that was strange, meeting someone in Tesco!! Isn't it worrying how Palmera were Spanish Property Guide, then Prestige, who we bought from, then Palmera? Why need to change names?? We just need to get through this. It cant be long now. We too Kerrie, can not be 100% sure it was not there at Christmas. Basically, whether the crane was there or not, something is going on, cos at Christmas the car park was easily accessed. On Sat night, the fencing had been put back over the entrance and the little man on his moped was inside the fence!
If they were planning on leaving our apts for the moment, they would not have bothered to make it more secure!?!?

Oh Oh, think you are right Phil, look at photo 1 on 22995! you can just see the end of the crane, sorry folks our mistake!!! Guess we were just so excited to be finally in there at last, to notice!
On a lighter note please just look at the colour of the sky on the ones we took last week!! Also Christmas was absolutely gorgeous too. Isn't that what we are all aiming for? Better weather, better life, better health!

Further on the crane issue, when we were there in Sep/Oct there was just one crane outside the building, on the side road leading from the roundabout, we went inside the development, and there was definitely no crane inside, so unless they have put it there since we were there, it certainly looks like something is moving ...... hope so.

I would'nt have thought that Urbassa would be paying the little man on the moped, for weeks of standing around. Either they have put something expensive on site (fittings or even a crane), or they are getting ready to start again.

posted a photo taken 06/01/2007 you can just see the crane peeping out. I have always looked and seen this crane as we drive into Almoradi off the bypass . perhaps they have moved it . anyway they do seem to be coming back soon with the moped man on patrol thanking you all for the posts good or bad John and Trish all the best with your recent purchase you will now have somewhere to stay when you eventually sign for the Amarion11

Phew! I haven't been on eos for a couple of days and suddenly, wow, loads of posts! Can only be good news that they've decided to put a security man on site. Must mean something is going to happen imminently, surely?
As for him not nicking our baths, he can nick our kitchen if he likes. Oh dear, I forgot, we're not getting one! LOL
Anyway, we're out for Easter, so fingers crossed we'll have more good news to report then.
