I hope that the new administrators are fair and if they feel there is a need to chase owners for cash they go after all nationals.
Also out standing bills that should have been paid for out of the funds by Meditarano (CAM). Are Vivendoo going to chase them or are we paying a second time out of funds?
Has anyone heard about the new builders? When and where are they building will they get CoH?

Can anyone tell me the latest with the meters? There's nothing on the EP site and nothing from the administrator.
I hope we haven't hit a problem

Last communications from Vivendoo were 20th May with minutes of EGM and other information and 9th June with details of fees for community and meters and where to make payments to.
Perhaps if you haven't received these, you should check that they have your correct contact details?

Hi Casagancho,
Yeap got all those things thanks, just wonder if and when the meters were going to be fitted.
Don't suppose the builders or Iberdrola are on site. This message was last edited by 9_Palms on 16/06/2011.

Finance:
The situation at El Pinet was discussed first and it was explained that finance had been agreed with BBVA. This will enable SJI to proceed with the build of section M1, which will contain 136 properties, garage spaces and commercial units. Crucially, this will also enable some HdT purchasers to have the opportunity to transfer to an El Pinet property.

Just got back from El Pinet and heard that due to the lack of payments for our own meters they will not be fitted. As a non payer I have always refused to pay for something that I dont use, so I agreed to pay my money for this meter to try and do my bit to resolve the situation.
This of course would mean that the subsidies for the residents would be removed and charges for electric and water would be shared on an even basis
To be fair 100euros a month for something that I dont use, its like paying a car hire company money every month for a car thats there when I want to use it then pay more when I do. .
If memory serves me right meters were going to be installed about 2 years ago but this was dropprd I wonder why LOL .
I also wonder if a list of non payers will be issued this time (they are good at that) It would be intresting to see how many residents are not on the list, then we can see the true facts of this situation. But I dout this will ever be issued as the residents have the bigest vote in any meeting..

I was in favour of a meter being fitted as it has been said, "you pay for what you use". Its no wonder bills are so high going on the example used on front page of EP. How can anyone run 2 air cons, cook, heat water and run a pool! The meter (if fitted) would need to be bolted to the wall. We have had to choose one of the above when we have gone out there, because of volt drop.
The question of if it was legal in the eyes of Iberdola and if the entire site installation was going to be tested for safety was never addressed.

Hi,
I have paid to be metered. So can someone explain why they cannot just fit mine and all the others that have been paid for and then sort out my bills for what I, or my villa use which, over the last couple of months, as I haven't actually been there, should be sod all!!!!

Moreover, what is the point of San Jose finishing M1 if we are not metered as it just means we pay for more water and electrics!!!!
They, San Jose, should be prevented from completing any more building or further develoments on site until we have our habitation certificates and meters or it just means we are paying for their water and electrics to complete the build for their profits. I for one am not prepared to pay for San Jose's building progress while they continue to fail to meet their contractual obligations!
We did pay for meters on purchasing our properties - it is time they coughed up and fulfilled their building obligations!!!!
Nowhere else in the world would developers be allowed to continue expansion without resolving current issues.

Unfortunately there are conflicts of interest.
Those of us who do not live there realise we are being ripped off and predictably will not pay. Those who live there do not think that. Those who have decided to try and represent us (without our permission) clearly do not have the ability. ( I used the expression lions / lambs a while ago )Threats will not work as there are no bills to pay as it IS ILLEGAL to live there.
Until we have a way of getting all on the same level of thinking, nothing will work. Changing administrators, they only act on what they are asked to do.
Personally, I do not trust or believe anything that comes from SJ or EP.
Sorry all, but an easier prediction of failure was impossible to find.

It is disheartening the way things are going. There are some nationals that are taking it in their stride as they know at some point in the future things will get finished. Maybe not in their life time but their children will have cheap properties when we all sell up.
It needs the administrator to go, with legal represetation to see the new Elche council. As we are paying our taxes why are we not legal with our CoH's!

Hi dbr,
Its good news, is that official, where did you get the info from? I had an email from administrator (Vivendoo) saying due to lack of interest they would not be going ahead.
Are Iberdrola/SJ involved in the installation?

Hopefully the latest info that we are getting them is correct....and hopefully the "we" will mean only those who seem intent on getting a solution to our problems, and not those like self-confessed non-payers like VM. Even if VM and others do get meters thanks to ourselves then I sincerely hope that they will charge VM and others like VM with what they owe before they get use of them...or they present them with a bill for what they owe for all non paid fees to date before they get to COH stage. People like VM will be hoping that all our own efforts may enable a positive outcome and then they get away Scot free without paying a penny.
I realise this may stir up the usual hornets nest, but this is not my intention. I merely wish to state the obvious. namely that I hope the efforts of the majority does not end up being a benefit to the few.

psb,
we dont want meters - youre assuming we all do - we want the COH. A meter in a property without COH is still an illegal meter because it encourages illegal dwelling. (a lawyer told me that)
but lets not quibble, its friday afternoon
