Yes you are right ,it is set by each council and our coucil charges us 42.25 a quarter because we live on a golf resort, and is  paid through our water bill. This was also how my parents paid for rubbish collection when they lived in villamartin.

So it comes back to my question are we paying, or going to pay twice for rubbish colllection?

Also are we all paying for the skip's, I ask this as when I go to my property there are palms thrown in the lagoon and on open space's!

Am I right in thinking that San Jose are out of administration?

   Desperate Dan.   If he had a chance  He would go right back   10,000 years B. C. As he likes to live with out water and electricity.

I ve read an interesting range of comments and am wondering if this forum is regarded as the one which owners use the most or if there are other ways of exchanging views, getting information etc? Seems to be nothing on Vivendoo owners area.

This is the alternate site where comments are made. They are on the whole interesting sometimes constructive and informative. Some find the remarks cutting and hostile, free speech aah!

Just got back from Hell Pinet and still no builders on the site.

There is a guy driving around the site on a JCB clearing the rubbish and weeds on the waste ground. The story behind this is that he is preparing the ground for the builders, but the second story is that San Jose are cleaning up the site for prospective purchasers of the land that is up for sale. So belive what you will.

How many times have we heard that the builders are coming back. DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH

For those who have made comments about what has been said can you just explain it again. I seem to believe from your comments above that they are taking the meters out to change the tariff? Because those who don't live there and therefore not using water and electric aren't paying anything? As you would or wouldn't!

Why do I feel that the community charge is going to be change back to us and them?

The post was two fold with a little sarcasum.

The 'friends' meeting again to try and extract more money from people that they are not entitled to ask for or receive. No doubt more threats.

I  am just amazed at those who think that they can 'freeload', even if it is only a t.v. signal. Even worse if they then vandelise someones property.  Next 'freeload' to swop a low reading meter, for a high reading one. Not beyond some I fear. Keep a record just in case.

Hell Pinet as called by others has now lost all its appeal. The reality of the EU economic situation is such that it is unlikely that the  estate is going to be finished soon. I said before that I thought there would be a token gesture regarding putting workmen on site. That's all I see at the moment.  More broken promises, unless the MOB are keeping details from the rest of us who they treat with utmost disrespect. I hope I am wrong for once.

I think that’s how I read it, in that a number on people there are having to pay for what they are using and its hurting. For the rest who only go there once in a while we only pay for what we use while we are there.

So the meters will be set for resident and non resident perhaps?

I was optimistic that this was the year we would see an end to the problems. Still its only February and I’m sure they will have some answers to what is holding things up at the next AGM. I’m also sure there will be a request for extra funds to finance the sinking fund.

I was going to have a break out in EP this year, but when its cheaper to have a holiday somewhere else in the world and less conflict then I will take that option.

We will never see an end to the problems while certain people live there. The hate that comes from them is unbelievable. They have damaged property turned electric and water off to villas & apartments, they are driving lots of nice people away from Hel Pinet,                                                                                                                                                                                                                              The things that they have done to others who have taken the option not pay is unbelivable. this hate will never go away unless they do. We will prove them wrong in the end.

Two people are spoiling it for every one and one of them is on the committee, when will the committee realise that the things they have done would seem as if the committee have given the ok, hence the MAFIA quotes on these postings.

I was there a few weeks ago and the hate that comes from these two is unbelivable, so like you 9 palms I think that I will go else where for my  summer holiday.  Egypt, Bagdad,

I get the felling they have ways (aka mafia) of seeing who is who and acting on the info. A good friend of mine was approached in the village and asked about his comments on this site.
