Answer.... NO...THEN IT MUST BE ILLIGAL TO LIVE THERE

QUOTE....WITHOUT A LFO IT IS NOT LEGAL TO OCCUPY A PROPERTY WITHOUT THE MANDATORY ADMINISTRATIVE LFO,  SO BASICALLY WE LEGALLY OWN A PROPERTY WHICH IS UNINHABITABLE LEGALLY UNTILL A LFO HAS BEEN GRANTED BY THE TOWN HALL..

I personaly have had enough of these threats and back stabbing at Hell Pinet I dont live there never had and never will, I am going to visit Elche town hall and complain that they are allowing people to live at Hell Pinet on an unlicenced and unsafe site.

These people at Hell Pinet are no better than the travelers in Essex lets hope that they come to the same end.

Do not give in to these illegal threats. This is corporate bullying big style. A 4 year wait to get in to court, a token payment when legal actions begin, restarts the whole process.  These debts that they are on about are not yours or mine.

The bills are still in the name of the builder!!!! 

Next time you are there look at a meter of a resident and the meter of a non resident. Then you will see how much you were expected to subsidise the residents.  On a par with Greece. No worse, at least they accept it is their debt, even if they expect the banks and us to bail them out.

As said by others it is still ILLEGAL to live there.

It will be my intention when we get to court to seek damages from the likes of those who have done 'deals' and caused the position to be worse than it should be. namely the 'presidents' ,  the owners of vivendoo, the ones sending the threatening letters.

I have not been on the forum for some time but do keep my eye on it.  I too have received the latest notification and am totally fed-up with the whole situation.  The problems seem to be as a result of people illegally living at El Pinet.  As stated previously my legal advice was not to pay or to live at the site.  I have spoken to my spanish solicitor on the phone this morning and have instructed him at my cost to go to Elche council and denounce them for allowing the illegal activities at the site which has caused me to receive a letter of court proceedings for non payment of costs incurred at the site by residents who are illegally living there.

I take it that is a "Dont pay" then. Are they entitled to kick in my door and sieze goods if I dont pay?

I just wish they (Vivendoo/committee) would post some good news for once. Like pursuing the builders San Jose with a view to finishing the work. Or Iberdrola, to get the overhead cabling in and put a supply to El Pinet. Heaven forbid pursuing Elche council to get our CoH’s or withholding payment as we are illegal.

Its just threats all the time, what are they doing?

Have you seen the minutes for meeting on 25 October? Sounds more promising? We like to think so. Providing they have your current contact details you should be kept up to date.

Thanks for the info CeeJay.    I haven't received the Minutes for the meeting of the 25th October, although Vivendoo have all my details and I've always received emails from them on different issues.     The Minutes don't appear to be on their website anywhere, nor on the El Pinet site.   Any chance of posting brief details or the Minutes themselves if you have a copy?

 Give your contact details to either your President or Vivendoo  and they will keep you up to date.

It was a meeting arranged by SJ at their offices in Orihuela on 25 Oct, with Vivendoo and representatives from El Pinet. Notes on the meeting have been posted on the notice boards at El Pinet, which we saw when we were there 2 weeks ago. Have asked if they are being posted on El Pinet and Vivendoo websites and await their reply.

If you contact your community president and ask for a copy of the meeting notes am sure they should be able to confirm them to you.

But in brief; building permits were being issued to SJ and work should start soon on M1.  Iberdrola were meeting Elche re permit for building transformer station. There is a plan showing areas of the site that Elche are prepared to accept and issue certificates on.  Vivendoo and Community Presidents are keeping up pressure on the Town Hall. Elche have confirmed dates and timespans as outlined in the notice.

Thank you for that info CeeJay.     I find it hard to believe that a meeting took place nearly three weeks' ago and we haven't been emailed the details/minutes.     Is it that no one really believes these things will happen and don't see the point in circulating a lot of hot air?     As we've all said before there have been so many broken promises .......   Having always paid my dues even when my property has been rarely used, I feel I have a right to know what's going on.    And whilst on the subject of paying for utilities and community charges over the last few years, I hope those owners who haven't paid but who have used their properties,  are duly grateful to those of us who have paid and who have kept the whole site functioning.  

Sorry, Vagabond, but you're wrong in saying that if the President or Vivendoo have our details we will be kept up to date.  They have my details but I have received nothing from them about this meeting.

Thank you for that information, why don't they post it on the El Pinet site. If owners away from the El Pinet site were told this they may stop posting comments that offend those of a sensitive nature. They don’t seem to think that people don’t want to, have been told not to or it’s not financial worth going to the property. I've been on committee’s and know you have to take people along with you or else they kick off!

Vivendoo would do better than to threaten owner and instead inform people!

Do you know which "M" area's they are looking to gain/get the CoH's for?

 Ok CJ putting aside my problem of a legal threat to sieze goods because I have not paid a bill I know nothing about (As all correspondence has been going to the wrong address, putting aside the fact that I have used no electricity or water as I have not used the residence (That of course would be illegal) putting all that aside

The meeting was on the 25th licences were due to be isssued on the 31st of Oct     Did this happen?

Orders were to be signed by today  Did this happen?

On the 3rd November SJ were due to meet Iberdrola reference the transformer......Did this happen?

As the presidents went to see the town hall last week and your president always keeps you informed please would you confirm if any of the above happened?

I was in EP a couple of weeks ago and saw a couple of workers clearing up. I was not convinced that this was anything different to what had taken place on previous occasions ( a gesture ). Ever positive,  I have just read the posting on the website, but the BBC news has just done a section on the dire state of the Spanish economy. I don't see the estate moving forward that much as money will become even tighter in Spain as with other places in the EU 

Positive.....The comments on this site do seem to get things moving.
