Hi Leomack,
We are looking to go out there soon so will look out for the sign ;0) I did ask if anyone had any info. It was met with total silence. I sometimes think this is a phantom site.
Still it’s all looking positive and I think and hope we will be legal by the end of the year, fingers firmly crossed.
Linc

Hi,
out there now and it's all happening - pavements being ripped up apace to bury the electrics - san Jose workers on site.
Piloto open and new apartments for sale from 38,000 euros, pool in M8 fixed and filled.
The salesman reckons to complte the outstanding apartments by sept - december (more realistically) and the whole site complete by the end of 2013
Elche council hoping to sort out habitation certs by the summer.
Looking good at the moment

Hi All !
Just come back from El Pinet with my wife and had a really good time, be it a few days. Met up with some good friends. The weather as usual warm during the day, somewhat cooler when the sun goes down, still it is March.
We were very pleased to see what had happened on site. M8 pool has had work done to it and has been filled from M2. This will be the next pool to be repaired. The new electric housing, for the want of a better word has been lowered in place. Not sure its for the whole site but there is a trench running back to the electric pylon?
We are payed up to date, not that it was that much outstanding but we were very cross with Vivendoo for being on the debtors list. Guess that how they are going to get people to pay.
Embarrass people to pay is much cheaper than taking owners to court. Interesting the number of local nationalities that owe money.

So glad things are on the move and thank you for your postings but I for one find your final comment "interesting the number of local nationalities that owe money" veiled racism and also based on no proper facts 9palms. If you read through these threads you will find no good has come of setting payers and non-payers of the community charges against one another. It is NOT the residents problem and these charges will one day have to be met. Such a shame when things seem to be going right to stir up resentment with flippant unfounded remarks.

Just looked at the list only to find my name on the debtors lists yet I am paid up to date. Still Vivendoo look like they are getting things sorted.
Allimac think you are reading into 9Palms comments to deeply! Read it again and find the racist bit?

Hi burundi,
The official site is (click of the link)
http://elpinet.yolasite.com/
There is an AGM coming up and I understand work has started on site. A clean up operation has been done and someone reported that the pools were being fixed. Also the electric is being sorted with a sub-station being constructed.
There has been emails from our administrators Vivendoo to tell owners of how much they owe and not to dump green waste. It would take some doing as I have been in the UK for some time now.
Still its looking positive for this year

It is always a pleasure to seeing new blood on this site, so welcome burundi. I hope you have studied the background and realise that anything that is said by San Jose is at best aspirational. At the moment, there is no LEGAL right to live there and as such no need to pay for anything, as that is still the builders LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY. Many people are being bullied into paying San Jose's debts, disguised as illegal fees by an organisation called vivendoo, the owners being ex San Jose employees, who are breaking data protection act rules by publishing personal date. A Brian Rix farce could not have been written better. It is a Spanish disaster, which means that a 'community as such will never exist' until some either move or leave mortal existance. (most know who they are, like the complient French in ww2). 58 are threatened with legal actions yet well over 100 are classified as 'debtors' but they are not. That means as a non resident you refused to pay for the services consumption of residents as voted for by residents.......it goes on and on.....If legal proceedings do start then it will become very complicated. There are data protection issues, many contractual issues. I would not like to be in a position of having signed anything to do with el pinet. Very very foolish.

Hi Burundi Welcome. It looks like this is the unofficial El Pinet info site but the only snag is that there lurks a stubborn freeloading maniac who insists on issuing his bigoted ramblings. Try to look through it for the greater good. All the best.

How warped and twisted some have become.
I hear those on the dole describing it as going to collect their 'wages'.
I won't pay for things others have used, yet it is I that is being seen as the debtor.
Human rights law being used to allow terrorists to live amongst us.
Biggoted. Well, thats just also described those that are trying to fleece those that don't live there.
It is those you should be describing as the freeloaders.
Just another case of UK madness exported.
