great plan except there is no planning permission for a golf course or for a clubhouse. With the water situation they ae not going to get planning permission for gol curse or clubhouse.. so it will haveto be a meet in Jumilla town instead... unless you are still planning to also bring many loaves and fish

I am sorry if I appear to be rude i am just astounded by the clear lack of realism and what you are trying to acheive. It is pointless asking san jose to offer you compensation as they are in dire financial difficulty and the now do not control their own destiny. I am sure that you do not honestly believe that they would ask the administrators about this on your behalf? Moreover what is the sense as they could offer you no answer of any point or worth whatsoever
The whole thing just seems a little surreal and bizzarre as it is far from clear whether the development will even ever go ahead and certainly not with the facilities you refer to. My opnion is that santa ana is dead and buried.
Did anyone read the sunday times on sunday it had piece about golf villas and the reduction in price by about 50% It particularly commented about Polaris world in Murcia and the fact that so many remain unsold- this is going to get worse. the adminstrators (if finances are able) will take a view of things continuing if it is of commercial sense and it allows creditors to be paid off. I think the answer is clear that the economics have changed considerable since this resort was planned as well as environmentally also.

I understand your points and share your frustrations.
As i see it the administration are the managers now, they will make decisions based on finance, environment and socio-economic. The housing market has peaks and troughs and its fairly apparent that its going into a trough.! There are always 'special reasons' for these troughs, water, credit crunch and the rest is the information we have on this one.
I think the real reason for this particular mess is the greedy nature of the developer when times are looking good. San Jose seem to have concentrated on quantity of development and forgot to look after their customers, a sure sign of failure in retrospect. Its hard to see how they can repair the damage. You have to deliver on your promises in business, regardless of if your in the UK, Spain or Timbuktoo, otherwise you end up in trouble.....San Jose have ended up in trouble.
If there is a lobby of people letting the administrators know that they are keen on having houses built, my feeling is that this may keep some confidence ticking over and may even help get money back. Let it continue is my advice.
Its hard to understand the amount of influence that can be achieved but any confidence built has got to be better than telling the administrators its a done deal.........do you think?

As if by magic.....i just received the following e mail from San Jose in reply to me asking why i am not on the creditors list, which shows how bothered they are and the extent of their customer service. Its not even put in understandable English.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your comment on my English. Unfortunately, I haven't had the pleasure to learn your language at the United Kingdom. All the English that I know it has been by dealing on a daily basis, on a one to one and reading English press with the dictionary next to me.
Secondly, I would also take this opportunity to say that I nearly always try to speak as much as possible in English with my colleague and friend Pilar and also with many of our clients who I consider to be friends (you know who you are).

Javier you and Pilar may genuinely be nice people but your bosses are not.
they are complete and utter liars.
They will be driving about in their mercedes and porches, living in massive houses built on the back of peoples money, will never go to prison because they sell properties under shell companies, your bosses have been doing it for years.
once this unseemly mess has gone and the poor people have been paid out less convenient expenes like your bosses swimming pool etc, the bosses will set up another shell company on your land at cieza, or calasparra, or beferri, call yourself a different name, build a few show houses just like albatera, just like jumilla and rip more people off.
if you are ethical you should hang your head in shame working for people like that

I would love to speak and write Spanish as well as you speak English. One day when our house is built and contracts are adhered to i will have a pressing need to learn the language. I look forward to it and i wil enjoy the experience.
In the meantime i will support Spain in the Euro championships instead. I would like to take this opportunity to say the only time i have had positive communications from San Jose have been in response to this post, which does echo my concerns about customer service Javier, do you agree?

PS I did actually send an e mail to San Jose in full Spanish, to Almudena and Yoanna, in February. I didnt get a reply but it was in perfect Spanish.

My lawyer is still not able to find us on the list of creditors.....what name did we get called on this list?
This is my main concern and still requires the proof.
Now you have given me confirmation of our listing, on EOS, you can provide the information either on here or privately, i dont mind which, i just need to know. Just dont go quiet on us again.

I want the phone number for the person called Pillar at San Jose, also is the person male or female and anyone know what level the person has within the company of San Jose.
The reason i require this is simply to clarify why i am not listed on the creditors listing, although im told i am on there, i am not.
I seem to be stuck in the shockingly bad customer service of the company, again, and they don't care if i am up a creek or with a paddle.
The process of litigating against them to prove the debt is crazy and costly.

Hi Javier, could you help clarify something for me please (PM or open forum is fine). We are waiting for a decision from the Administrators who, we were informed via Alicia, who had a lengthy conversation with our Agents last week, were looking at my particular case of transfer this Monday (9th June)to Playa Golf No 35 R2. I am keen to understand how this process is undertaken and the time frame I now need to wait. We have the Contract (dated 17-05.08) which has been approved by my Lawyer. I am ready to proceed and simply need some time frame to work to. How does this work with the Administrators?

Hi Brian,
I am quite because I am trying to get docs sorted for SARC website problem in translation english does'nt translate literally have to reword spanish versions so takes a bit longer. Any way hows it hanging with you. I think the next few weeks will be quite then a hell of a lot action with courts and such then hopefully we can get back to working on our dreams of retirement and happy golfing days and tasting some good wines that would be good. I love full body reds.

Dear Editor,
I write to inform you that since my letter last week, which you kindly published, the Santa Ana del Monte Residents Cooperative, SARC, has been formed to represent member purchasers.
The number of members is growing rapidly and we are finalizing several documents including a mission statement, aims and objectives plus standard letters on SARC headed paper.
The documents will be translated into Spanish and available to SADM purchasers to enable them to join SARC and the ‘I Want My House!’ campaign.
An email address has been set up and a web page for the download of the documents will soon follow.
I hope that your paper will support our action on behalf of the purchasers who wish to have their homes and the Santa Ana del Monte Golf and Country club completed as soon as possible. We do not wish to pay solicitors to get us our money back.
I’ll tell you what we want, what we really, really want: “I want my house!”
