Briando. Don't do a SARC on us and try and tell us what we can or can't say, or what we should think, or who we should listen to.

I have absolutely no idea what you are on about FIN.............
I want to know what the admistrators say now
I dont want to speculate about how debts and assets stack up, or if there is enough water to turn the tap on
I want to know what the admistration say.......its not only corrupt but its too slow is this system.
All i am saying is i am well past speculation now...........i want the authorities to do what they are supposed to do, they are the only ones left getting paid

Why is everyone ignoring joanniemacs post saying she read post on the general forum saying SJ have declared bankruptcy .Is it true .I cant find it. This would explain the vanishing of the SARC leaders .

Did you really think saying debts outweigh assets otherwise why administration, was some kind of revelation, or new point of view?
Yep its a place for points of view, grant you that, my point of view is i would like to know the results of the administration and i think its about time.
Now....aside from what we already know about the finances......can i have your point of view please......come on y'now you can do it.......you have some good ones sometimes. Im sorry but im fed up of hearing what have the romans ever done for us.

OK, so your point of view is "i would like to know the results of the administration and i think its about time.", but isn't that obvious and no different to anyone else, which you should also be aware by now that despite you thinking it is about time, that has no bearing on the decisions or timings.

Out of interest, does anyone know anything about the 10 year guarantee that was to go with the properties after completion ?
In the UK, such guarantees start prior to works commencing and include some amount of compensation in the situation of the developer going bust, Zurich offer such policies and NHBC are similar. They may payout up to say 10% of the purchase price.
Now I know that this is considerably less than the percentage deposits we have paid, but if we are to get only a certain number of pence in the pound / cents in the Euro, then it may help boost ouf coffers a little or make up some of the difference ?
Although, no doubt Spain does warranties badly too and SJ probably never actually purchased such things ?

My opinion is the same as my ambition and my goal.
I want the administration, who have had a long time, and a holiday, to tell me, us, you, everyone....exactly what the price of fish is and what they recommend.
Then we can get onto the next level
Im sick of speculating thats all.....look where speculating has got us so far eh......nowhere fast

So are you now telling me that people paid deposits and did not not what they would be getting in return?
I thought that the warranty was one of the first things people enquired after when buying a new home in UK. Does that mean when buying in Spain, purchasers only ask where the Brit bars are, how much sun do you have?

Like here, new houses come with 10 year guarantees, but no, there does not appear to be mention of it in the contract.
I would be interested in the typical wordings of such policies, as some, I believe, would cover all the deposits......

There isnt a build insurance requirement in Spain im afraid. No house building council requirements etc,
The insurance is taken at the time of contract exchange, the lender requires it, like over here. No guarantees though, only the builders handover guarantees, as offered.
Not in the off plan contracts......reputation only
FIN is about right....even as a qualified surveyor....i bought on my observations and reputations.......off plan.
Its not important though on a deposit......unless yours was completed?

I looked at their website - following briando's train of thought and it is the first website I have ever seen which does not webcoder at foot of website. Something else to hide?

Hi All,
It has been suggested that SARC actually has no members apart from Brian and Tony.
Just wanted to inform you that , as far as i am aware, in July , 39 people had signed up.
OK not so many, but more than have been suggested recently, me included.
If you want to know why no one has actually come forward to admit to being a member, may i suggest you take a look at the sheer amount and relentless tirade of abuse both tony and brain have received for setting up SARC , then ask yourselves again why members do not actually want anyone to know they are members?
I fully expect to be called stupid, and gullible and more, so go on give me your worst.

I dont think you are stupid because you have taken means to protect yourself and your token membership is about maintaining your options.. that is your right it is your money
What you haven't done is try to twist the facts to suit a reality that is so far removed from what is happening that it is untrue. I have read all your posts and agree with your sentiments
I have no issue with SARC members although 39 is a very small number compared to those who have raised legal cases against the developer..
