Hi,
why all the attacking? The list on the SARC site are member aims and objectives. We have gone over this before, old story. We posted Q& A from a solicitor and we had looked into it the key words are.......costly and lengthy. Well we have got looked into costs , down from 10% , 6% to 1200 Euros. Length non definable as if you want your money back you have to go through the court process.
You can aims you aspire to, you see if the wishes of the membership are achievable.
Can we stop the nastiness.

Hi Tony, my guess is that we dont actually know (nor could find out ) just how many SJ purchasers have or have not received the Letter from the Administrators. I know we all have our private agenda's as to which way to go eventually but I am thinking genuinely about all those people who may not have access to computers to gain any information at all. It would be impossible to guess how many have NOT received written notification from the Administrators especially if they arent even on the Creditor's list and may not even have a good Lawyer. We have read threads from Forum members that arent on the list in Court etc. Have the UK Media been informed of this situation (factual obviously) with San Jose so that those who may still not even know what's happening dont miss out? Maybe this has already happened but if not, is it something you guys could do?? I just have this vision of genuine folk who dont or cant join Forums who would be in dire trouble after the 30 day period ended who dont even know whats happening. Should we all help ensure that to the best of our ability no one is left uninformed if possible? How about the BBC?

to be honest with you i am not even going to bother reading the threads any more, yes i did join SARC and as long as it is handled correctly i belive they can do a good job in putting some pressure on the right people who control a lot of our dreams.
many people are not as strong as some people who write on this site, and do not know where to start in getting help on this current sorry state of affairs. you have already mentioned that you know of a couple of pensioners who have joined SARC and are sitting back and waiting.
so what have you done to help them, if you pm me there details, i will give them the name of my lawyer in spain who incedently is only charging me €350 for all of this rather than the higher figures being shown around here.
i used to come on here for informative reasons and to try and give out information that i thought may be of benefit to people. my tolerance level is now at -1 reading some of the put down remarks i have seen on here lateley and to be honest i cannot be bothered anymore.
seems like its a case of look after number 1 from now on doesn't it.

Hi Sally,
i could not answer earlier as I was at work. Yes we were thinking about how can we make sure that every one is informed of the situation. Garcia's reply eases that concern but we still look into ways of getting info to people who may not access the forum.
I will also ask my solicitor a question about the letters which are being sent recorded delivery and proof of reciept. If you do not recieve it you cannot of signed for it and therefore you have not been made formally aware. I did notice that my letter has come direct from Herrada del Tollo, so I hope that all of the purchasers address's are correct. I suggest most strongly that people contact Pilar to ensure that their address is correct and if you have moved and not informed them please do so immediatley.
It will be probably about 4 weeks before we know the outcome and may be given the opportunity to continue with our purchases. I maintain that having your property is a more favourable outcome which most people would like and would of made this whole mess slightly more palatable.
I wish you all well and ask that you stay calm and wait to hear the outcome of the process.
And yes....you guesed .... I still want my House

Hi All, Just to let you know I received my letter yesterday, my address is incorrect on my contract but we got the letter anyway. Maybe down to the diligence of Royal Mail! Cheers Joanniemac

I was concerned about how many people were missed out through not knowing about the administration too.
The only people who can know all the customers who are affected are the builders, its on their database and they should inform everyone. I am suspicous, its my nature but its not something we can do anything about.....its a matter of trust im afraid. Isnt it??

I guess your right Briando. Does anyone know which UK press printed the details a while ago so that I can read the article(s)? Im supposing this was the announcement of going into Administration rather than information on the Appointment of the Administrators and registering purchasers in the Courts as this is so new? If we knew which paper(s) then perhaps we could notify the Editors to announce the up-dated situation once again? Just in case someone didnt read these papers before (like me!)

Your postman/woman has acted illegally. There is a reason for recorded delivery. The card on the letter is to be signed and returned to the court. This is how they will know who has and who has not been informed of the process.

Actually the reason for signing for the standard letter about Administration that was sent by San Jose, is so that the company know that the address they have for mail is correct. For example the address for us on the creditors list is the address from the original contract held by San Jose ie our old address in the UK. The registered letter was actually sent to our spanish address.
Before I get my head ripped off or my parentage questioned by some of the lunatic fringe that seem to be posting on here, this information was given to me by my solicitor not something I just made up.

No worrys about insults from here. I only saw the Card when the posty ripped it off after I'd signed and all I saw was the card addressed back to Herrada del tollo.
I was just keen to point out that the card should be returned to enable them to know who's address is correct etc...

ANNA I was wrong I have done further reseach which now proves that ANNA is Not ALM and I apologies in public to you as I promised in our emails that if I found out that the info I was given was not true.
But I do believe that you have been maligned by the person who gave me the information and I retract my original statement.

Hi All,
I am aware of the source of the information and the source was informed by another party who i do not know of and they trusted. It is a shame that misinformation was spread and I thank and respect Brainmags for standing up and saying he was wrong and sorry to Anna M. It was not fair to her nor Brian, that they were put into this position.
As Brian said we are effecting the process in a positive way and the probability of a good out come is improving.

Hi All,
We have been told by Anna M that the deposit money is there and in a ring fenced account as it supposed to be. I have also been told that the cost of the licence to complete the build is 5 million Euros and that is the sum that needs to be deposited at the Jumilla town hall to enable work to resume on the build. I hope this is positive news for you all and hopefully increases the possabilty of a good outcome for all, what ever your prefered outcome is.
