Looking good for Cartagena. I might try and take a game in next time we are over so I can say I was there before they hit the big time!
Has anyone been to a game ? Any idea how easy it is to get tickets and prices etc ?

after all the early season hype and bluster, things are settling down with the result that a more "competitive" premier league looks like being a two horse race already with Chelsea looking favourites at this stage (just like last year).
Did you see the goal celebration of the hull lads against City? priceless! Come a long way City in the last year, from 4-0 up against Hull to a 1-1 draw and £200 million spent.
One last point, Tevez has been at Eastlands for 4 months and he is talking of retiring after next years World Cup at the age of 26. I wonder what has made him fall out of love with football? any ideas citydave? (my mate Dave Roy) We have not heard from you for a while, is something the matter?

As my mate said it is a marathon not a race (he is an Everton fan mmm that follows) only us and Chelsea have only lost one league game.

To the misinformed, there are approx twice as many United fans in manchester than City fans ( official Manchester Evening News exit polls ) I notice that you, unlike me, are not from Manchester so your comment is a bit rich.
On the subject of only one defeat, most of Chelseas are wins while most of yours are draws against lower teams. Unfortunately for you since they changed the system to 3 points for a win most draws are absolutely useless. your 7 points out of 21 for the 7 draws you have just posted is the equivalent of nearly 5 defeats ( 14 points dropped ) by my reckoning that is relegation form and I would be looking nervously over my shoulder if I was you!

Hi Jay........lad to see you have bounced back from Sunday's drubbing by the Blue Noses. I was hoping you may have got something their. Good luck tomorrow at Wastelands, I am sure you will be too much for them. As Dakey says, they have well & truley burst the early season bubble

Nick i'm afraid it was men against boys on sunday and where we were unfortunate to lose the other games this year we certainly weren't against chelski. Don't think we're coming out at xmas too many commitments here i'm afraid but out there from thursday this week for a few days so looking forward to seeing all the progress. We'll have a knock in the new year eh Hope you and Deb have a great time at Xmas

Nice to see our reserves cope with a nice easy fixture against Spurs first eleven!
I have to agree that Chelsea are looking strong, but do not forget that they were further ahead of us this time last year until we clicked into gear. As sir Alex says we only need to keep in touch coming out of Xmas and that is when we traditionally kick on. If the pots were handed out in November each year we would never have won anything!

I kept quiet after beating Arsenal comprehensively as i didnt want to hear the bleating about the team Arsenal put out etc etc etc etc
well we beat Chelsea comprehensively with mixed feelings
yes we proved we are a team to be reckoned with.
unfortunately we did utd a favour
I therefore suggest we are a club to be respected
we may not win the premiership but we will take points off teams
the sooner we get rid of Robino the better
