I am sorry but international football just doesnt float my boat. I am as patriotic as the next man but if all our £150k plus a week footballers, whoever they play for, cannot beat a Montenegro team from a country the size of Bristol! and everyones whipping boys Poland, both at home, then they need to hang up their expensive boots now. To see Hodgson fidgeting nervously on the touchline makes me fear for his health when the real pressure games come along in the finals and I just hope he doesnt turn up his toes like the great Jock Stein on a matchday. Pipe and slippers time Roy I think soon, but I do hope he makes a good showing in the finals, I just cant see it.

Just read that City are going to go ahead with ground enlargement to 61,000 and I cant stop laughing! that is as useful as me getting a penis enlargement, neither will ever be used.

Great performance again England. Kept the best to last. Let's hope Some of the youngsters coming through continue to develop and Roy is able to keep faith with them. The basis of a good outfit is developing.

'Walking down the Warwick road to see matt busbys aces' is a chant still popular today at the theatre even though it has been renamed 'Sir Matt busby Way' Now that have named a road after fergie I was unsure which road it was so I thought I would go and have a look. I entered 'Sir Alex Ferguson Way' into the sat nav..... and it added 7 minutes to the journey!!
Well done England, dare I say it, we look like a decent team in the making.

Cant argue for once, Watching Utd in the league this season is akin to having your teeth pulled with pliers. The saints look a decent enough team but 1 point from 6 against them and West Brom at home is relegation form and there is no other way to put it. Moyes may be one of those managers who can motivate and manage lesser players to overachieve on a shoestring, but the performance in the top job at the moment is far from convincing with dodgy team selections and even dodgier substitutions. He needs to learn very quickly that one thing the Utd fans will never put up with is trying to shut up shop at 1-0 at home to the likes of Southampton. That will get him the sack very quickly if thats the way he does business going forward. We will happily accept 1-1 if we have been chasing 2-0, but we will never accept 1-1 trying to defend 1-0!

PS George, the difference between Roy and the detestable Terry (and his Father, by the way) is that Roy is not racist and they are!

One of the best goals I've ever seen yesterday down at the grove. The interplay, one touch football flicks and finish were absolutely amazing. My first visit since the sp*rs game and there is different atmosphere down there nowadays and it's a very very positive indeed. ;) Jay
