Mind you, it would be very difficult to wrest it off the bitters as their luck of the draw is continuing with home draws against lower division clubs carrying on and on and on.....We might actually see them winning a game tonight for the first time in a while.

Once we start to get unbiased officials and settle down it is a league and FA cup double for us this year, What are you going to do? you are out of the League cup and as good as out of Europe so just got the same as us to play for really.
At least, like us you try and play attacking football so will sometimes come unstuck, unlike another well known but small club from the capital city who just park the bus out of fear and wont even come out and play when their opponents go down to 10 men. I dont know what your opinion is of that, but I would give up watching football if my team resorted to that style.

Just checked the 4th round draw of the league cup and wondered what happened to manure and l;arse especially as they have only 1 trophy left to play for this season.
Is it true van der valk has complained to the pl that he cant win a game due to fixture congestion and the fact he has had a really tough start to his short managerial campaign?

Even though I was gutted at the antics of the lamentable Clattenberg, I watched the City v Chelsea game and cant help wondering what game you were watching. I have no particular penchant for the cheating Bitters as you know but they were the only team trying to win that game. I have to agree with Audrey that it was difficult for them as they were playing like a 'BIG' team and Chelsea are just a 'LITTLE CLUB' (his words not mine) trying to hang on to a point. Even when City went down to 10 men Chelsea shrank further and further back in their defensive negative bubble. If Utd played like that I would disown them in a heartbeat. On the 'only one thing to play for' theme.....dont count your chickens just yet mate. (however, I am just sticking a couple of quid a week aside just in case I have to pay out again, lol )

not sure what you mean dakey by shutting up shop when you are at the champions home ground and they go down to 10 men and cfc not only score but hit the inside of the post as well. i presume you prefer relegation scrapes where you can ship in 4 goals in the closing minutes! yes that was entertainment-lol

What I mean George is that you only ventured out of your own half about 3 times in the whole game and yes I would prefer the 'entertainment' of Utds unjust defeat each and every time.

Youth team players at the back and down to 10 men for 35 minutes and held out against the team that smashed Liverpool last week. I think some credit is due. Rooney, first player ever sent off for a professional foul in the opponents half and you still say there is no conspiracy.
