George,
I am talking about general play mate, extremely lucky in both games. Plus dont give me any clap trap about too many games. Teams that play twice a week have more cohesion as their players get to know each others games better. Playing once a week or less makes it harder to form an understanding with your team mates. Teams like Liverpool won titles in the old days on muddy pitches playing 60 odd games with 14 players in the squad and only one sub. So no I dont go along with this modern fatigue/ tiredness bullshit. Modern players are probably tired through staying up all night counting their vulgar wages!!

I have just read that bent tosser Clattenberg has been suspended this week for breaking the propriety rules that all referees have to abide by. How he wasnt banned for life for his display at Leicester where he single handedly gifted the game to Leicester (aided by a couple of Utd defenders) I dont know. Good riddance to bad rubbish!!

George,
Just to remind you in case you forgot. our youth team got beat by MK Dons, City who are supposed to be the 'finished article' played virtually a full strength team against Newcastles reserves at home and if that muppet ref had given the 2 nailed on pens and the other chances were taken an already embarrasing defeat would have been a rout and by the way, that is the first half decent team that City have drawn out in the cups for about 3 years. They won the thing last year beating lower division teams at home. Looking at your picks out of the hat this year George, you seem to have taken over that mantle.
On a final note, the last time we were 10 points behind a Chelsea team that had come flying out of the blocks early on we won the league at a cantor, so dont count your chickens just yet especially after last weeks mauling we gave you!

I refuse to be too critical of Citys mauling by Newcastles reserves...... what do City fans expect after years of chronic underinvestment in the playing squad????!!!!!

''god knows what we are going to do to them come weekend!''
Kick em, spit on em (Fellatio yet again), but hold em to 1 goal - disappointing result that is - for us, we're used to popping 4 or more past em.
3 nailed on pens, 2 more good shouts, couple more red cards if pens given.
Bizarre atmosphere tho, both sets of fans loud before the game, but then just settled in to watch the game and quietened down, prefer it on telly myself now.
Question - as not seen the replays, but in the 50/50 between Aguero/De Gea, who got there first? Both committed, no issues with that, but i'm guessing 1 of em was late and missed the ball, foul anywhere else on the pich? if Aguero, then yellow card, if De Gea, then penalty and red card ??

Just been catching my thoughts gents before posting, Now.... We have just played the top two teams in the league and have drawn one game doubling the number of chances that Chelsea created and have just played the champions on their own midding and lost by the only goal after playing an hour with 10 men and finishing the stronger team. If those two are the benchmark, then I agree with King Louis that even with our injury ravaged squad we are very close to that standard already and we havent hardly even started on the road to a new era yet. There have been some very dodgy refereeing decisions this season and like everyone we have both benefited and suffered from them equally. By far the worst decision is watching Citys keeper head butt the referee and get away with it! quite apart from the fact it was a game changer, Hart should be banned for the rest of the season by the FA.
In conclusion, playing City you know that you are going to come under pressure from a lot of little skillful players trying to go past you all game which makes Smallings sending off one off the most stupid acts I have ever seen on a football field. To stick a leg out to block Harts kick out and thus rendering any subsequent mistimed tackle a certain red card is a 'shooting at dawn' offence. It just beggars belief that anyone would make those two individual decisions in any game, let alone a derby that means so much to the fans. Complete tosser, just as he was looking a decent centre half in that last game and a half. However, it wont be long fellas before these teething problems are all a distant bad memory.
