City - the foul was outside the box, not a pen, the red card was correct. Barca deserved the win. DeMichales - why is he playing?
Arse - Dangerous play by Robbin for high foot, free kick Arse. Bayern deserved the win.
Dithering Scottish manager, never won a bean during playing or 15 year managerial career, never managed highly paid high profile players, never been in the world media spotlight, speaks one language (2 if you caount Scottish as seperate to English), now who is he managing or should that be making a laughing stock out of.

"just like a Chilean manager with a history in Europe of not winning anything in a decade should never have been given a (so called) top job in the EPL as he cannot possibly know what is required."
Yet another faux pas by Dakey Lad! When will he ever learn eh.. He comes out with this bile when his side put the biggest loser in the so called "Hottest seat in football". You couldnt make it up.
Stand by my previous post, ARSEnil were pants end of!

Stand by my previous post, two nailed on pens and 2 nailed on sendings off. I think if you asked Preston fans about their ex manager they will enthuse about the fact he won them their league, their first trophy for god knows how long. If you add the community shield to that tally and anyone can see he is a veritable trophy winning machine. I think everyone left in the CL will be bricking it at the thought of drawing us next (with all due respect to the bubbles)

Dakey Winning an a lower league trophy is a starting point for a manager and at the beginning of a career could be somewhat respected but to have never won anything in all the time he's been in the top flight?????? Come on mate he's not got the experience of winning at this level. Maybe he will one day but right now that will be a major turn up for the books. Jay

Just back from a few days break in Paris. Had a lovely time especially watching PSG in a bar Tuesday night. Great atmosphere. No mention of Citeh throughout the night but then showed highlights at the end. Perfect end to a perfect evening. Even the French lads found Citeh's game a laugh so there you go. Good to see Gramps being investigated for his remarks - as classless his club. Get on with it. Looks like it's down to our two most experienced European teams to deliver again. Thought Arse were a bit unlucky but made too many errors. Look out for PSG as they look a good team and totally dominated their game.

Jay,
Think about it mate, moyes was at Everton for a decade with NO MONEY and kept them in the top 5. during roughly the same period, Wenger with vast resources (that he refused to spend due to stubbornness) kept Arsenal around the same position in the league and also won nothing. now, I am not happy generally with how he has performed up till now, but he needs a bit more than six months and a few more signings before we condemn him to the scrapheap.

One qualification for champions league and he f**k'd that good and proper too!
Dakey your comparison defines your stupidity and the only stubbornness clearly visible does not need pointing out!

Jay,
You are one stupid man sometimes, CL qualification counts for Jack S..T. Let me say it loud and clear IT IS NOT A TROPHY, it is a booby prize. Over the last nine years David Moyes has won one trophy, The community shield, wheras Frog face has won.... NOTHING! At the same time Moyes has had a FRACTION of the resources Wenger has had. Now I say it again we will have to judge Moyes on what he achieves now that he has got good resources and we cannot do that over 6 months. There is nothing in this post that can be construed as untrue, by your estimation if Wenger qualifies for the CL every year in 4th place then he is a successful manager.... well I beg to differ, that would make him a 'specialist in losing' in my humble opinion and before you go off on one, I am desperate for you to end your trophy famine this year as we are not in a position to help you keep the filth off the top.

Dakey and Humble opinion are three words that should never be strung together. If you could show me evidence of any current or former manager that could of kept us as competitive as well as maintaining our ever present status within Europe's Premier Competiton whilst undertaking the changes we have gone through then do it. Obviously 4th spot is not a trophy and a club like ours knows that position alone is no where near enough but tell me how you will feel come may when you're not in it. If you believe your win it you are even more mad than we all think you are. As for Moyes this utd team walked the league last year.... So what's the difference??? It ain't rocket science mate. Now stop being a melt and face facts. Ps well done on the charity shield if I was you I'd get it tattooed. Jay

Jay,
We were bought by Owners of dubious motives and placed immediately in anything up to £600 million debt. Ever since then we have been gradually paying down that debt to the point where it is now below £250 million. during that time we have also been paying up to £80 million a year interest to service that debt. That is much much worse than you finding the millions to build a new stadium with some of the richest men in the world on your board and charging your fans through the nose for the 'privilige' of watching the team. Now that millstone around our necks did not stop us posting our most successful time in our entire history, so in answer to your question, Yes their is/was a manager who would have won you regular silverware during your lean years and his name is Sir Alex Ferguson who was a 'specialist in winning'. Mr Moyes, or indeed anyone, had some act to follow and that is why every Utd fan to a man (or Woman) is doing exactly what the great man has asked us to do and that is to give the new man our unconditional support and that includes the time to succeed or fail on his own merits. In conclusion, having seen our great club bring home the CL twice then while we are still in it we can but hope, just like you must do at the start of each and every barron season.

With your turnover and proportionate spending power your achievements in Europe should of far exceeded Real Madrids and Barcelona combined. So on money spent on wages and transfer fees your success can actually be seen as abject failure. Answer why your so poor now? With all that debt decreasing you've done you should be even better now so what's the issue? Ummmmmm I wonder! Jay

Man U an american plaything to try and get rid of debt, l'arse a french play think with money from russia and everywhere else in the world(sold your sole when you sold the ground name- whats it called now- the cameldome or something and now just a breeding ground for young french players) man city an arab plaything which will win the league and maybe 2 other cups as they are easily the best team in england at the moment, liverpool made rich by the pools money( yes we all bought some tickets at one time to help fund their success without thinking) Chelsea ( the only team in london ever to win the champions league)bought by an extremely rich russian who to his credit has developed one of the best soccer academies in the world even if he walked away tomorrow.
btw ozil- i can see why the special one and real madrid wanted rid, great going forward but slated by gary neveille for not caring a toss about defending.

City, best team in England....... Abject failure again in the CL and LOST 5 games out of 25 in the league. I dont count their cup runs because 80% of their games have been against lower division clubs at home. If they are the best team in our league then the rest of us must be crap.
Chaddy, I think I will give up posting as I cant get over the shame of being reprimanded over my written English by a thick yonner who regulary intersperses his posts with words like Ya!

Rooneys contract was negotiated with just over a year left on his present one, which is standard practice for players that you want to keep. There is a slight increase in his pay owing to the fact that next year and onwards he will be our captain. So no amount of silly Chaddy comments will change that. It is a certainty that during that contract he will overtake Bobby Charltons 249 goals for Utd and also his 49 goals for England. Add that to the trophies he has so far won at Utd and the workrate he puts in on the pitch means he is worth every penny piece.
