Dakey, take care of David Moyes for me. You got one heck of a manager there. I wish him well (except of course when his new team is playing against Everton). I await with interest who our next manager will be. I'm not entirely convinced about Martinez but he seems favourite at the minute. Lots of changes for next year (we just need Wenger to move on) which will really mix thing up a but still no Mourhino at Chelski or Pellegrini at Citeh, Hughes at Stoke and our empty chair.

Lynn Great to have palace back like jay have had many good time at selhurst. Looking forward to the merry go round that is closed season Rooney Ronaldo Teves and bale all coming to the arsenal ........well we can all dream..... At least we know bale is off so think where spurs would have been without him.. A bleak 2013... 2014 for them how often can a team fail before they realise their true place.. Manchester New managers and for the first time stability not assured we shall see what evolves but could e interesting.. Chelski special one returns on the back of a awfull season with r Madrid so you have a manger that's failed badly in his last job long may it continue. Roll on next year. Running a weekly comp next ear for all pop in and see me when you are over and will give details it s run by email and simple. Neil

Neil,
It will be an interesting season next year, if the managers that are touted for the big jobs come off, for the first time in god knows how long the managers of the top five will not have won a trophy last year among them! incredible. You would have to go down to Everton with Martinez to find a trophy winner.

Fellas,
The truth abut the Rooney situation as usual has been blown out of proportion. The simple fact is that Rooney asked a completely relevant question of Sir Alex after being substituted 7 times and left out of crucial big games. " Have you lost faith in me gaffer? would it be best if I moved on if that's the case?"
Now, I love the great man, but I happen to think he totally disrespected the player towards the end considering he has carried the team to title after title and if I had been Rooney I would have asked the same question.
The new manager will sort it out one way or the other, but as far as the player is concerned there is only one way to go if he leaves.... DOWN!!

Jay, Neil,
Arsenal have just made a statement that they are confident Arsen will sign a new long term contract. What do the fans think? unlike Utd whose future is bright under the new Moyesiah, not everyone at the Emirates has got Wengers back. Is it Champions league success or more of the Chumpions league? is it "in Arsen we trust" or "in Arsen we rust"?
I see also that lot at the Emptihad have splashed £60 million already on unknown average players on top of posting a £98 million loss! HAVE THEY NOT HEARD OF FFP!!!! Throw them out of the CL now and make an example early.

Dakey Have lost a little faith.. Each year we expect then are let down season after season.. Until he spends and breaks wag structure we will continue to fail... So he either wins silver or leaves. As for Ffp they will just sign a sponsor deal to stay within rules. Moyes is untested at the top so time will tell but all he can really do is fail as the vino kings record will never be beaten. Neil

Just heard the quote from Fernandinho " the move to City will help me get my place back in the international squad"...........WHAT!!! The managerless bitters have just splashed £34 Million quid on a 28 year old player who isn't even a current international! You really couldn't make that one up could you? They really are a sorry little outfit.

Jeb,
Many thanks for training up the Moyesiah for us, but I also think you have got a smashing young manager there now in Martinez. He always talks a lot of sense and is very articulate and he will be the only manager in the top six with any silverware to show from last season. I think you and us have fallen on our feet there. I don't understand the bitters choice of an untried Chilean on the face of it, but when you delve a little deeper he has a solid record of getting the best out of small clubs and they don't come any smaller than City!!

Dakey U ain't arf bigging up a geezer wiv absolutely no history of winning anything in the top flight. The more I think about utd's choice the more I'm liking it. Moyes ain't even won the league cup. Your previous manager had a history in Scotland and was far less a gamble in hindsight. I'm worried that it will all fall into the Russians hands and that's no good for no one!! Jay

Hmmm he's won as much as Wenger has in the last........ 8 years is it now ? This big shake up is what the prem needed. Lots of new managers should make things quite interesting. Not sure it will level the paying field but may create some surprises. The amount Citeh have spent on just two players is unbelievable and that before their new man is in he hotseat !

That's true Jeb but he also has not revolutionised football in this country or kept his team in the champions league or built a half a billion pound stadium whilst getting it all done by balancing books cleverly and not relying on some Russian crook/fuel fixing Arabs /American financial sheisters either mate!! I agree it's gonna be very interesting Jay

Jay,
You are being a bit mischievous lumping our owners in with the other two there mate. Everyone knows that the Arabs and Russian have bankrolled two small clubs to a level that they would otherwise not be at, wheras Utd are at the top level already and our owners far from bankrolling our club have actually bled it of substantial funds and our subsequent managing of the books whilst still winning things regularly dwarfs any achievement either playing or financial that the gunners have achieved over the last 8 years. Please don't lump us in with those two detestable organisations.
