Well someone got a hammering from Big Sams hammers, I wonder how many thousand that will knock off the gate? Not next week though as that is the only game with a full house at the Emptihad when Utd rock up. All we need now is to halt Chelseas bandwagon in its tracks tomorrow and things will be closing up nicely at the top.
I see if Labour get in they are proposing taxing any assets worth more than 2 million quid..... That would be practically everything in London, except Arsenals back four!!

If we can win the last two games playing that kind of crap football then maybe anything can happen.
Well done Alexis that's 8 goals now in all comps and he's looking very good indeed.
Chelski to win by 4 goals today up the theatre of nightmares.
Well done to the Irons a fantatsic start to the season.

dakey you keep harping on about penalties, please explain the double pull in the box and the other one on hazard by rafael who should then have been sent off. your guys were very lucky and very 2nd best in all departments. no top 4 finish for your lot. still 10 points clear of you dakey lad

George,
Have a look at the videos again mate, Ivanovich has got hold of a handfull of Smallings shirt, six of one and half a dozen of the other and its nothing that doesnt go on in Chelseas defence every single game. I make no apology for our 23 year old average age defence actually doing some good old fashioned defending, about time and they are beginning to look like a tight unit.
Now as for being lucky, again have a look at the stats. Utd had twice as many chances and twice as many shots on target, now remind me who got man of the match, yes your KEEPER!
In conclusion, The 'finished article' nailed on top squad in our league rock up to our no hopers and crawl back home with a lucky point. Now King Louis said it will start to take shape after 3 months and that is just what is happening, which team was time wasting and falling over and feigning injury for the last half hour? which team made defensive substitutions trying to cling on to the 'set piece' lead? I can tell you, it wasnt us! All in all it was a good even game, a draw was a fair result and if you had nicked the win it would have been a travesty.

You are correct Jay, a RVP own goal. Drogba these days is about as mobile as Sir Alexs statue outside the ground so the only time he can hurt you is on a set piece. Why was Raphael not on the post and RVP marking Drogba? and why did we not just have someone marking the space just past the near post? That is just a lack of onfield organisation that will come with experience, other than that the defence is getting better. All the back 4 put in their best games of the season and we need it again next week at halfemptyville.

a point advantage gained over the only team that can beat us to the title so not a bad result. lets hope man u get another dodgy ref next week, obv still goes to alex', and van galls tea parties. terrible ref but a point with our 3rd choice striker is still a good result but should have been 3 with a decent ref( looked like howard webb in disguise)

You were missing one season wonder Costa, We were missing the best PL striker/allround player in its history, Rooney and Falcao who Costa was understudy to, so I think you got off lightly in the missing strikers dept mate. I think as the seaon progresses then you will become more worried about us that the inconsistant ineffectual blue shite over the road.
We have had penalty decisions against us this year and have had no less than 8 legitimate penalty appeals turned down by bent refs, so I think we are well behind the 8 ball in that respect.

votes are in mom was phil dowd dakey, and to say that because a defender is young he is allowed a bit of leeway on a penalty decision is pushing it a bit pal

Did you only have 6 booked? Dowd is a tosser, it should have been 10!! Chelsea players just will not let anyone pass at any cost, there are little snide trips and pulls and pushes all over the shop and each one is deliberate and hence a booking followed by players amassing around the ref trying to intimidate, all in Joses' image. Not a pretty sight at all.

Should have been 10 minutes, time wasting for half an hour! Plus he added 4 minutes and we scored with a minute to spare
