you have to admit old red nose is the best at intimidating officials and getting time added on when losing!
i think a points deduction would have been more appropriate. whats a small fine to him. he doesnt care. the club will probably pay it anyway.

George,
Have you nothing positive to say about your beloved team? How the mighty have fallen!
Dave,
I gave you enough excuses to go at, Have you nothing to say about the paltry 45,106 gate for your biggest game in 40 years!

End of the season and after a fantastic final day I'd like to congratulate:
1. United on a deserving NINETEENTH RECORD Championship - what a team ! And Sir Alex - truly a remarkable manager.
2. Man City (really) who actually spent their vast wealth wisely enough to buy third spot and an FA Cup. Actually catching an ageing, fading Chelsea.
3. Roman Abramovich on sacking his manager again. Abramovich is a walking disaster and Chelsea are teetering on the edge....
4. Ancelotti for being a decent, honourable man at a club with no morals.
5. Liverpool on managing to crawl above Everton !
6. Spurs on managing to get something out of a season when they entertained widely.
7. Blackpool - again for not going down the route of defensive football and entertaining us all to the very last.
8. Wigan and Wolves on final day heroics.
9. Arsenal on another implosion and having to play a summer qualifier next year !
10. QPR, Norwich and ? for joining the big boys !
Let's look forward to the CL Final, another English victory... AND NEXT SEASON !

Hi All.
Heading over tomorrow and wondering where the best place will be to watch the CL final - Al Kazar or Campasol.
Any suggestions?

George,
To highlight the absolute folly of your pathetic little club, if the current manager of the year and the greatest club manager of all time had worked for Chelsea, after the lean spell of 2005 to 2007 he would have been sacked so would not have been around to break records. Who in the right mind would take that job? Ray Wilkins and Carlo Ancellotti have more class in their little fingers than your Russian Gangster has in his whole body. You should all vote with your feet and let the club slide back in to obscurity where they belong!!!! Sorry if that sounds like a rant, but to win the double for the first time and then get sacked for finishing runners up is barely believable, they would be handing out knighthoods at the Emirates and Eastlands for that achievement.
Cheers, Dakey

Chaddyowl,
Winning the FA Cup and finishing third has just about earned Mancini another crack. This time next year if they have not won the league or CL then I will bet my house that he will go the same way as they are run by similar people with no morals who think they can just throw money at it and they will get what they want. Unfortunately for Chelsea and City, United stand in their way at a club properly run and managed and we are not going anywhere just yet, so expect the managerial merry go round to continue for a few years longer.
Cheers, Dakey

Jay,
Yes we are in debt due to the spineless FA allowing someone to buy our club who did not have the money to do it. Its funny though isnt it that since we aquired that debt that the club is run that well that we have actually become even more successful than before. The worrying thing for everyone else is that the reserves won their league and the youth team won the FA youth cup so the feed of youngsters in the pipeline is as strong as ever.
Chaddyowl,
If I had a quid for everytime someone has said we are a spent force and someone else was in the ascendancy, then I would be a very rich man. In case you have missed it, we have just won the league by nine points with the most wins, scored the most goals, posted the best ever home record and despite everyone saying our away record is crap, the least number of away defeats. Should be interesting next season, lets see if Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Spurs and Liverpool can muster up a bit more than the FA Cup between them. Now thats what I call spent forces.
Cheers, Dakey

I agree to certain degree but I think your success this season is a hell of a lot to do with the mismanagement of others the Arsenal being the main culprits. Whilst I appreciate utd's achievements I can't help but feel that the utd team is no where near as good as previous teams and had the russian not sacked wilkins and wenger spent money when it was so obvious he should ; then things would have been oh so different. As is it transpired it all worked out for your mob and the league never lies!
However you must be more concerned that Dave's citeh have topped the latest league. They are top of the Value for Money league. On goals scored, matches won against season ticket price etc etc. Apparently sp*rs are bottom but only just Utd Liverpool and Arsenal are all down there.

Jay,
Some interesting comments, but this team that you dont rate has just posted the best home record in top flight modern English football, Ever! and I cant take a team seriously no matter how rich the owner is when they cant fill a relatively small stadium at the most exciting time in their history. Its supply and demand, how can you charge high prices for your tickets when you cant sell them at low prices? and how much would they be if they were made to buy the stadium like the rest of us?
Anyway, cant debate the future yet, we have the small matter of a CL final to look forward to against the supposed best team ever on the planet. I wonder though if given the opportunity that Barca would have beaten Chelsea 3 times in a month in massive games, our unrated team did just that. food for thought eh?
Cheers, dakey

Jay / ChaddyOwl / CityDave,
Despite your reluctance to accept the facts - bottom line is OT is by a country mile the biggest club stadium in the country and full every week and however good/bad we were this season we won the Premier League by NINE POINTS. End of story.
By the way - we beat most clubs attendances for the Youth Cup matches over the last couple of weeks !
I can accept that you must find it hard to be gracious in defeat but even you guys can't deny hard facts. Start listening to Dakey - he speaks a lot of sense !
