I owe everyone an apology, I said previously that we would overtake Southampton and be pushing the top two coming out of the xmas programme.......even I didnt think we would do it by the middle of December!! and still with wingers at fullback and centre mids at centre half! Sorry for getting that wrong lads.
The current form league is calculated over the last 6 games ongoing. Guess who is top? and that is with away fixtures to Arsenal, Southampton and a Liverpool game in there, so none of that 'you have played nobody yet' nonsense.

2 league titles, 3 FA cups and a big time bottling, missing a sitter in the one CL final he reached! Good God, we have squad players with more trophies than that. King of Kings? level in the all time PL scoring charts with....a midfielder! Dont make me laugh mate, that paltry return might earn a statue down at the Emirates but not at proper football clubs up North.

Twitching a bit now George Eh?
On a lighter point, did you see the draw for the league cup semis last night? Souness grinned when he pulled out Liverpools ball, then did you see the scowl he gave Redknapp when he pulled out Chelsea, if looks could kill! That was so funny.....it is not as if it will matter though, Sheffield Utd will win the thing, nothing left in it to beat.

I forgot, the frenchie actually won the CL with Barca.......never mind that he couldnt get a game as a striker and the few times he started was out wide as a headless chicken. The one game he started in a CL final as a striker was with Arsenal and the tape of his sitter miss is still a massive hit on 'bloopers' programmes!
Dont get me wrong mate, good player who I enjoyed watching, but Legend? Statue? King of Kings?? rose tinted glasses spring to mind here methinks

You would have been able to see first hand the massive and expanding gaps in the crowd then eh? It really is pathetic that a little inconsequential club has been catapulted into the big time with top class players bought with owners money and you cannot come close to filling a quite small stadium! Why on Gods earth are you making it BIGGER!!!
On the football front, luckily for you, your injuries have corresponded with the easiest run of games in top flight footballs history so I can see City coming out of Xmas on top, lets hope that in our difficult fixtures we can stay in touch then kick on. I will take 19 points from the next 7 games if it were offered just like our last 7.
Good luck to Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs in their fight against relegation

Top of another table eh?........ The divers league! followed closely by the bitters. Unlike the PL wher you are both going to be reeled in by Utd, that is one league that you both have sewn up tight!
