fellas,
Fulham fans are complaining about the cost of their statue, I can tell them it cost a lot less than the 50 million pounds Chelsea paid for theirs!
cheers, Dakey

rooney should have got a 3 game ban for the right arm smash- so one game less ban means hes got away lightly. what an odious little person he is. scum.what a bad example he sets to kids. not surprising youngsters these days have no respect when you have role models like him.

C'mon guys,
Forgetting his marital indiscretions Mr T has always set a good example: in 2001 Chelsea fined him and other players for drunkenly harassing American tourists grieving the 9/11 attacks and in 2002 he was up on assault charges. Hardly Mr Role Model ! I'm sure George thinks that his biggest crime is that he was apparently a Utd fan while growing up !
Not many of them are good role models - including Rooney - but it is the lack of consistency with which they are treated that is the problem. Whether it is the usual London bias or what I don't know but it's inconsistent.
Anyway, so far we've managed to rise above it and still prevail. Long may it continue.
Game on next week !

I never considered either Rooney or Terry role models and I find it laughable that some people do. You'd have to lock up your wife, daughters, and possibly mother/grandmother if they turned up on your door.
But i do agree there needs to be consistency. Did laugh that Rio said they were being unfairly treated...another great role model.
I don't agree Rooney should have gotten off without a ban. I think the FA is generally gutless when punishing players for abuse to refs or others. They were forced to do this because he directed it at the camera (didn't hear it myself so have only heard it was an explicit rant). And as long as the FA lets the players throw tantrums and abuse at referees, other players, and even spectators without really punishing them, players will feel aggrevied if they actually cop a ban.
Heard Clive Woodward wondering how Rooney is Iconic when he hasn't delivered on the biggest stages...think he said Rooney hasn't scored in last 8 World Cup matches. Found that surprising.

George mate,
You have my sympathy there, If I had to watch some of the shite your team has produced this season I would be longing for the cricket to start as well. But for us reds I think we will hang on a little longer and see what happens in the next few weeks.

Fellas,
Another match chalked off and for all you who have been critical of Utds quality this year I would ask how many of you could have made 8 changes against a form team and still won at a cantor?
The main point I wish to make though is that the word F..K describes a sexual act between two consenting heterosexual adults and Sodomy describes an unnatural sexual act between usually two males. I have just witnessed Phil Neville on match of the day say not F..K it, but Sod it whan asked about his first goal in three years. Now I am sure he was joking but nevertheless he spoke it directly to the camera and some people would be offended by language such as that. Under the FAs' new edict we can expect no less than a two match ban then eh? dont hold your breath, he does not play for Utd anymore so it wont matter a jot to the FA or all you other ABUs'.

Dave,
There is that many of us we have to share the tickets around, I think I will wait for one of the finals. With a gate of 27,000 for your last cup tie I think you will have a bit of room in your tiny little corner of Wembley. If you are going to wave at anyone do it in the first five minutes, after that your hands will be holding your head between your legs in despair.
George, I would rather be a Yank cowboy than a Russian Gangster any day of the week.
Have the FA charged Phill Neville yet?
Cheers, Dakey

George,
Very good, green and gold, Norwich City. Its easy to mock the fans protest at our so called rich owners just as it would have been easy for us to ignore the debt they got us into in view of the fact we are still dominating practically everything even with the handicap. Unlike you at Chelsea who embraced your new rich owners as you were desperate to leave the darkness and come into the light. Similar at City, principles flew out of the window, but If anything, after tonight at Anfield, City will be seeking a new manager as they rip up their 452 million pound blueprint and start all over again. Come weekend, they may well be wishing it was Norwich City they are playing. Everyone gets beaten from time to time, but proper clubs react in the right way. Since our defeat to Chelsea and our own mauling at Anfield, we have won every game since in all competitions, lets see how City react to their latest setback and then we can judge them on that.

Superb stuff again. Looks like we're hitting form bang on time with everyone getting back to fitness. Rooney was magnificent again tonight and Giggs calmly ran midfield with Carrick who looks like a different player from the first half of the season. I'm starting to fancy Real and Ronaldo in the final but will be cheering Tottenham on tomorrow !

Kev,
just got back home from a Torres night out, loads of shots, bloody expensive, but did not score at the end of it! 50 million quid!!! and 6 million for chico, thats what makes Fergie the master. It looks like Ancellotti will be given his Pea-45.
Thats the 399 million pound teams season over, now for the 452 million pound misfit bitters.
George, I dont suppose we will hear from you now till next season mate, or will we?
Cheers, dakey

Only saw highlights this morning but its very rare in a 2 game tie that one of the sides gets every contentious descision given them from a red eyed set of officials. Offsides, sending offs free kicks and penalties all going against Chelski.
Stop deluding yourself about the powers and prowess of baconface always finding good cheap players. Wenger is the lad that does that. Have you forgotten the enormous flop list Veron, Djemba Djemba Forlan, Ferdinand (sicknote) Bebe this season(how much) and many many more
Take your good fortune into the next round and think about what really happened. Our young Ryan Wilson is still playing well for an old lad.
Georgeh...... over to you
