I thought City were the worse team in the CL this year.... till I watched the turks tonight. Have to say that Chelsea are looking strong though, lets hope we can avoid each other all the way to the final!

It cannot get any worse than being beaten twice by Wigan and exiting the CL early yet again, that is as worse as it gets after shelling out the equivalent of a small countys GDP!

Dodgy Penalty, offside goal and ref missed free kick before Manure got theirs!
MMMmm sounds like a magnificent as well because looks like the Refs are back on the Red Bandwagon feeling sorry for em..

I hate being proved correct. Moyes puts some width and pace back in the team and we look the part again. Chaddy, Shampers, try saying "Champions league quarter finalist" just to see how it rolls off the tongue nicely. Something you clowns will never savour!

The Manure going out 3-2 would have been far less painful for you than the embarassment that will happen in the quarter-finals, at least the bubbles had a go at you away from home whereas the manure were shocking in Greece, what is it you were saying about easy draws all the way through a cup competition, the draw you've had to date couldn't have been easier.

Shampers,
Some of the teams we have played have a certain pedigee in winning games in the knockout stages in previous years, unlike you clowns who have never won a Group or a knockout game, so dont be disrespectful to teams who have achieved more than you have. the only teams to have had an easy ride so far are Bayern (in the group) and Barca as both had the big gigar out.

This is interesting reading and puts to bed a few myths about revenues as well lower down.

George wherever you are in that revenue table there are no myths, some are there on earned income and some are there on owners income giving a distorted view of the clubs actual size. Simple mate.
The article also states that for the first time all eight group winners are through and 6 of the 8 are previous winners. So the best teams in Europe are all in there and really clubs like City for instance have no place in such company!

Well there was never going to be an easy draw for either Utd or Chelsea in that company. The best 8 teams in Europe and possibly the strongest QF 8 in the competition's history. It's great to be in there with a shout - could be heading for another Utd v Chelsea final? I have tipped PSG as a dark horse throughout but fancy Chelsea to do it. We'll have to put in a good first leg performance to keep us in with a shout in the second leg and then who knows? Great stuff. In the meantime - over to George and Jay for their PL Title shootout tomorrow!
