Glad to hear you are alive & well. Got to admit I have been feeling sick since Sunday, but no complaints on the day. The minute Evans got the wrong side, it was game over. Totally agree with your comments, either of the other options would have been a beetr bet. He is too lightweight. In addtion I have been saying for 18 months now that Evra best days in a United shirt are long since gone. He is too far off the pace, gets sucked out of position too easily. Get rid now & give Fabio I long run in the team.
Can't belive how many Bitters have emerged out of the woodwork, but as you say, let them enjoy their cup final. They crowed about the 5-1 in '89 for 15 years, so I guess this fill their fanzines for 30 years.
Aldershot must fancy their chances tonight....Seen Rooney playing golf at Close house today, so he is certainley not playing!!

Hope you are well, but isnt football a funny game, two games in the space of two days against teams of very similar size and stature with two such contrasting results. Although thinking about it I am probably being a bit harsh on Aldershot with that comparison! ( there fellas, doesnt take me long to get over a setback, onwards and upwards)

Just put you to rights on a few things, Utd have NEVER bought the title or anything else, We have an owner who takes money out and we have traded on EARNED income and won things, unlike Chelsea who could not sustain their model without their owners money. City will be the same but I have not commented on them yet as they have not won it yet, but when or if they do they will be the same as Chelsea, in a false place for the size of their club.
By the way mate there a three times as many mancunians support Utd than City even accounting for all the ones that are coming out of the closet.

Fact: Man Ure broke the british transfer record 6 times in the last 15 years sustaining the success. Money does not buy success but it helps, don't complain when others invest in their squads!

I have just spent a lovely evening with your mate and fellow bitter blue Pete Woodworth. For some reason he declined an offer of another day at home as he has a late check in today at the Heliport and insisted coming up last night just to have a drink with me.He also got up early this morning and came in the office where I am on light duties and I have had to put up with him all morning. As I am typing this he is stood behind me going on about City, thank God he is going in 5 minutes so I can get some peace. Please tell me that I am not this insufferable when Utd win am I?

For someone who is on top of the world, that is a very bitter sounding rant indeed. I just hope for the sake of your sanity that this little result doesnt come to mean as much as the famous 5-1 thrashing you gave us all those years ago. It is always nice to win the league, but I have a sneaky feeling that if we manage to claw it back this year and prevail then it will take pride of place in front of all of the others. Instead of talking about competing with Barca, concentrate fully on just getting out of the group first because that is not looking too certain to me at the moment.

Being at the community shield (where my little girl was one of the player escorts for City of course) I must say it was a little embarrasing that City did not take on their full allocation. That said as a regular visitor to Wembley it is an absolute nightmare to get away from and do not blame any early exits.
However being sat in the Utd end at the game on Sunday, I though I may get a bit of grief when cheering each goal, however there were no problems as I was surrounded by every nationality possible, most of which did not speak any English and I was certainly the only mancunian!! No wonder the Community shield is a popular attraction for UTD fans when in London.
Utd , Global brand - Yes - true supporters - No. - Glory Hunters - Yes
Dakey - I do not know if you go to the games or not but if so - respect - There are far too many people whom claim to be a UTD fan but have no idea where Old Trafford is - some use the excuse, you can not get a ticket which is absolute rubbish - Utd advertise every week on the local radio ticket sales for each game. I proved the point for Sunday!

Point taken about the money even Arsenal are in Debt but make hugh profits each year (mind u this year may be different).
I admire the way you defend you side but on occassion them rose coloured galsses need to be removed. The defence has probelms and other parts of the team are not working as they should and if it is not fixed pronto City may be out of sight.
I never had problems with Utd fans only the pretensious ones who no nothing about footie and only ackowledge the existance of Man u and know otherteam can perform. So its only about 95% of Utd fans this fits.
Great effort in defence by yourself maybe you should contact Sir Alex and give him some lessons.

Well happy that Drogba is out but beginning to think he's a little past his sell by date and probably more concerned about sturridge.
You ought to be concerned though because RVP has a decent record against your mob and his current form is unmatchable and if Arsene decides to finally play Arshavin through the middle we might be able to give you a game. Looking forward to it though and then the mighty derby which is Cheshunt vs Harlow!! Come on you Hawks. That would be a nice win double!!

You will always be most welcome and I never discrimate against any team, anyway I am not out so the more chance of being full of Chelski.
I apprieciate great football and have admired the way Chelski have battled with reduced numbers I fear for us Saturday unless you continue to try and play with less that 11. Yes so please he is banned.
Say hello to that Chelsea nut Adam at salude I have know him for years as we worked togther in England.
