Well done the Gooners. An impressive display and start to the season. At last someone looks like giving us a run for our money and it's nice it's not just a challenge from the chequebook. Is the 'Wenger out' crew still around Jay?
As for Bitters - amazed and amused to read that they're still paying Adebayor £40000+ a week! What a pathetic bunch!

Kev,
I know that Adebayour is not on loan but he came on last week against the bitters and they are still paying him a small fortune weekly. Irrespective of the result that has to be wrong on so many levels. Think about it for a minute, a club with the best defensive record in the league fields a player who is getting paid 40K per week by the opposition and they lose 6-0! When is the old bill going to look closely at that. Mind you if we stopped players playing who were still being paid by City we would only have a 5 a side league left to watch!!

No TRUE Man Ure fan would EVER hope for Liverpool success either real or ARMCHAIR!!!
Well done Jay lad for managing to keep your heads above water but unfortunately the seas will be getting a little choppy soon and you will soon be going back under so take a deep breath pal and hold onto what you can..

chady did i read that right on here some fellow purporting to be a manure fan wants liverpool to do well? as you say that can't be right. maybe we have sussed dakey at last. maybe he isnt a true football fan and just some bloke that purports to support a team but in fact knows nothing about football. mind you after reading some of his posts on here even as recently saying how good cardiff were and were going to give l'arse a run for their money then maybe he is just a fraud with a puppet.

Chaddy,
It looks like the league are letting you play all your games at home to give you a chance. The status quo will be reinstated when you start playing away games again, I think you have the best home record in the league and one of the worst away records! how does that work mate? I think it is the first time ever that has happened and actually says a lot about the character of your players. If you had just played the 3 away games we have just come through unbeaten you would probably have lost the 3 of them. Come back when you have sorted that little problem out.

For once Chaddy I am lost for words. There are 6 teams going for either the title or european football at this moment ..........and we are not one of them! I never thought I would have to say that but it is what it is. The problem with Moyes is that he never keeps the same team no matter what the performance. We beat Arsenal and he changed half the team for Cardiff. Then we had a fantastic win in Germany and anyone with any sense would put that team out again next match as the confidence is sky high, no, he changes half the team again and does the same thing tonight. The worst thing is though he rotates his defence every game and that is one thing the great man never did. He needs to get back to basics, decide on his best eleven and give it a run. It is too late for the title but we need to have a tilt at a CL place before it is too late. Mind you we might nick the CL with an average lucky side from 6th place in the league.........it has been done before, just ask Chelsea.

I liked the chelski shot best Dakey....
It must be hard to take watching an Everton side playing more like a man utd and man utd side playing like a moyes style Everton side.
I feel for ya at the moment but to be honest a sea change in form and style would be needed for you to qualify for the CL and I can't see it this season mate.
Now Sunday against the toffees takes on even more importance
Cheers
Jay

Lads,
Just to remind you, even though I have threw in the towel on the league this year it stands at UTD 13, Arsenal 3, Chelsea 3, Blackburn 1, .......... and oh err City 1. Liverpool 0 Everton 0 and spurs 0. So you see, we have not won it now and again. Of the teams going for it this year, I hope the gunners go ahead of Chelsea with 4 to cement second place overall and we will follow the great mans advice and take winning a cup or two as success in a transitional year.

Sorry been quiet lads but been busy and at least you can't say that I've been away when my lads have been losing.... Unlike Georgie boy.. Dakey the towel 3 weeks before Xmas how Long ago was it you kept telling us the utd would be top by then now you may see that we were all right and you did not have a clue what you were on about utd are a poor shadow of their former selves and I see no immediate cure. Now that it is over please leave the history lessons alone it is all about the now and you still have to try and qualify for the European losers cup Last night results cemented the my belief that the top four are now in place it's just the order and with the strength of the money bags clubs in blue I am still struggling to see past them. But if we can purchase a couple of decent transfer window signings the dream might just come off. If we can get a result at city when they are crushing everyone at home then I will believe. Jay Don't it feel good at the moment not just our position but the football we are playing and now believing each game that we can keep clean sheets as well as scoring life is good Neil

Neil, Jay,
You have been saying for years that Utd are a shadow of previous teams and we just kept winning the league, I suppose if you keep saying it then eventually you will get what you wish for, albeit temporarily. However, I am not going to be churlish and attempt to dampen your parade, you have every right to be happy right now and I would be happy if you kept the detested little rich owner clubs at arms length and clinched the title leaving them empty handed again. So if it is not to be us for this season, I will be rooting for you lads to come good in terms of winning it. I still think if moyes stops over tinkering that we have enough about us to clinch a CL spot and one of the cups, so I am not too downhearted yet as no one has a divine right to it. It has to be earned (by most of us) or bought by a few!

Manure have only been winning in recent seasons due to the Sourface factor, but that's now gone as have the class of 92. When you're leaders have gone it doesn't matter how good the rest of the troops are if the directions and instructions being provided to them are poor, and Ditherhing Dave Dinosaur is clearly not the answer, but long may he remain.
No doubt Van Persil will now be looking to another club asap so he can win a trophy before his career comes to an end, Arsenal maybe ? .................. Wenger Out !!

Dakey I said many times that utd are not the force they were and made a big point of it over the last few seasons. Fact is by the look of things Sir Red choppers knew it too and with one last throw of the dice spent 26 million on robin van pervert who literally carried you on his own to last years title. That was never gonna happen this year and with your ageing members and lack of quality in key areas he bailed out knowing full well that utd are ill equipped to compete. That is not act of man leaving a legacy for success more an act of an ego maniac making sure no one can match his own personal record. He's stitched you up mate good and proper!! Jay
