Chaddy,
If we had Norwich and Bournemouth at home and you had Arsenal Everton and Palace away then I think we would be top now dont you. Just concentrate on the CL mate because if Seville beat you by more than one goal then they will be in prime position to go through and you will be out early yet again.
By the way, that one shot at goal was one more than you managed in the Derby!

Mmmm lets have a think about this one. Not played Arsenal yet, already beaten Palace and Everton away. Think City did concentrate on CL, judging by performance and result.
As for one shot on target, well I guess the figures speak for themselves - goals scored 26, and Utd, oh, that would be 15.

City,
We are building in stages. Best defence in the league with most clean sheets with the best goalkeeper and best midfield protecting them. We now only have to tweak the attack and hey presto, the finished article and all achieved on earned income.
Arsenal were unlucky tonight, they started well.......then fell apart in the last 89 minutes! Thank the lord for the Manchester clubs, although this is as far as City will go.

Chaddy,
you can comment when and if you ever get past the last 16 stage because up till now you have never got near to managing it. Even Moyes managed to get his bunch to the last 8 and were leading Munich on aggregate with 20 minutes to go in the second leg.

Well at least the break will save us going on a losing run, I had a bad feeling about us playing a bottom three side, give me Arsenal every time.

There's more to the Chelski fiasco than meets the eye, you can buy success but you can't buy tradition, that dog track still haunts the bridge.

I think Jose will jump ship, his big fat ego cannot comprehend what is happening to him and his team and he will implode very soon. 8 staight defeats and Villa outplay the so called favourites for the title...I dont think so. Teams that grind out results from bad performances win titles and with 8 clean sheets from 12 games I know where the smart money is going.
meanwhile, daylight robbery down at the grove Jay.

Well dakey, it looks as though you are learning, re still getting wins or draws whilst playing crap. You're wrong about life on the bridge though, someting has happened and is still probably happening.

Hep,
We are not playing crap, we are tight and solid and dominate teams. The football is quite good at times but it is easy to be critical in comparison to the free flowing teams that Fergie built up. You have to give LVG massive credit though, in just over a year he has taken a basket case defence and midfield and turned them into a world class unit. He knows that the priority now is to get more variety and pace into the offensive side of the team but it is just a tweak here and there not major surgery. Then we will be truly formidable again.
I have just lumped a tenner on the treble again, its like printing money.

Dakey,
Fergie knew that his ways had come to an end, however it was his system that brought Cameron Borthwick-Jackson through the ranks, albeit LvG will have to do something about that name.

Come on Chaddy, lets have some joined up thinking. He spent 200 million and recouped half of that on outgoings and it was all earned income anyway.
Now as for City, you have spent twice that on overinflated fees and had players refusing to move cos no one else would pay even half their salaries..... and all UNearned income. What do you have to show for it? a team that has never retained the title or got past the CL last 16 or ever filled the rented ground..... now that is real success NOT!!

A bit scratchy yesterday but we have 10 first team regulars out injured and the best team that N17 has produced in a decade still doesn't win so a bad day but it could of been worse and in fact with a little bit more composure we could of even nicked it so all in all not so bad especially with citeh having a mare at Villa.
By the way
