Chaddy,
Manchester should be proud today with 3 long held records smashed in Englands win last night. The mercurial Rooney smashing that other UTD legend Charltons goalscoring record and before the age of 30 to boot. On top of that he became the first England player to score in 7 consecutive competitive games EVER! add to that the fact that Delph put in the record for the shortest ever appearance for a player starting an England game and you can see why Manchester is bursting with pride today. Take a bow Wayne and Fabian.

PS, lets see how many of those 14 year olds get anywhere near the seniors Chaddy, on past record more than likely NONE!

yes jay . i am talking about england and being an england fan and just would like to see usdto well when we reach the later stages. its ok knocking in goals every other game from the penalty spot against the faroe islands but honestly now we are in the finals i bet wooney doesnt get 3 goals in total , perhaps dakey woulod like a wager, one im happy to lose as maybe his goals would see us progress past the 1/4s for  a change.
sir bobby charlton and gary liniker  at least scored goals when we had a tv audience of more than 1 million
Trouble in pit
Man United players revolted against Van Gaal -Â A group of players went to Louis van Gaal and demanded changes to the team's training methods, per The Sun. The players felt that Van Gaal kept training too rigid and that he didn't grant them enough freedom. That confrontation came in the opening weeks of the season and while the manager listened to the players' concerns, nothing has changed.

I had forgotten how illiterate you guys are on the subject of football.
Goals in competitive games; Rooney 36. Charlton 27.
Winning goals; Rooney 9. Charlton 6.
TOURNAMENT (finals) goals; Rooney 6. Charlton 5.
Even the 2 goals England scored in last years world cup finals, Rooney scored one and assisted the other for Sturridge.
In his 50 goals he has scored plenty against top sides, more than Charlton.
Gimme games (+4 goal margin) Rooney 16. Charlton 19.
penalties Rooney 5. less than half of that England great Shearer.
The one difference that makes Charlton a great is his team mates, he played in a team with great players. Becuase of the abject lack of support for a decade from pathetic players from our other top clubs ie Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Liverpool etc, Rooney has shouldered the burden almost single handed and because of that lack of support playing in poor teams his record is even more impressive not less so.
Finally, George. Do you think Fergie would have put up with players telling him what to do? never in a million years and King Louis is out of the same mould. They can lump it or leave, it will be their loss as we begin to sweep up again.

Well well eh? Utd play hardball with Madrid and their disgusting underhand perpetual undermining of other clubs players and now if they want DDG they will have to pay the market rate for the worlds top keeper. On the other hand DDG might just have had his eyes opened to what a disgusting horrible club he nearly signed for and now he can knuckle down to do what he does best. 4 year contract signed with a further years option. Stick that in your pipe Madrid.
Finally isnt it refreshing to watch a manager of authority stamp discipline on these young multi millionaires and their agents. LVGs stance that he wouldnt play for Utd until the window was closed and things were settled once and for all is a stance that no other club would have taken and took real class and guts.

More than 6,000 new homes are to set to be built in once rundown parts of Manchester thanks to a £1bn deal with Manchester City’s Middle East owners..
This is investing in Manchester and its people not like the Glazers who take take take off the people of Manchester, well them daft enough to support Ushited that is! LOL

Utd's style of play is so bad that Rooney and Carrick went to see LVG to have a moan up. All my Utd pals don't like the football so it's coming at a massive financial cost and you're having suffer some very dire stuff. It's like chelski when borerinho goes back to his natural style.

I do agree Jay, we are not brilliant to watch at the minute, but we are improving and the table shows we are better than Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs and only City of the 'established' top 6 are above us.
The temporary lack of entertainment on the field is more than made up for by LVGs pre and post match interviews. Whatever you think of him there are no politically correct answers, he says it as it is with honesty warts and all and I find that refreshing when other managers perform backward somersaults rather than give a straight answer.
3 points today will maintain our stranglehold over the other so called recognised top six clubs and that is with all due respect to the sides currently in those positions.
