Never thought I'd be able to say that Crystal Palace are the top London club in the Premier League! Much as I love Arsenal (daughter's boyfriend is a supporter) here's hoping they mess up today, Im sure Dakey's hoping the same!

On my way with my daughter now and looking forward to what should be a great game at the grove.
It will be interesting to see what happens after the last three games in which there have a win a piece and a draw.
As a Gooner last years match at the grove proved to be both the most frustrating game I've ever witnessed live and a turning point in our season as we pretty much picked it up from that point.
How United won that game with only one shot on target for the entire game will baffle me forever but that's history now and it will be interesting to see how it unfolds today.
All to play for and come 6pm I'll be expecting us to be just tucked in nicely breathing down city's neck.
oh yeah how's are the egg chasers going Georgi?
youll have to concentrate on the relegation battle now! Lol

brendan getting sacked is a real shame. but guess they want klopp. jose should have been sacked first as he has been the worst manager in the league this term. anyone who plays ivan week in week out doesnt deserve a decent job. anyway well done l'arse. knew manures tyres would blow once they played a half decent side. happy bmouth are over achieving. come on your cherries.

Got no argument mate, you were just to quick for us for first 20 mins, you had so much space in midfield and our defence had so many holes in it,
Thought second half we bossed the game but that said your lot took the foot off and we didnt really create anything just had lots of the ball (story of our season so far)
The only thing I can take away from yesterday is hopefully the proffessor will now realise we need a decent centre half and a right and left back (till shaw gets back), any team with pace is going rip us apart.
Dont know if your out in CDA but me and few of the lads coming out on Thursday for a week so hopefully see you about if your are,
Cheers

just back from a nice golf weekend, How did the weekends football Go not seen any........Seriously though, We wont let a fluke out of character 19 minutes from the gooners deflect us from our long term philophosy. The mark of a good team is the reaction to a setback not the actual setback as every team has those, ask George and Arsenal have had more than their share of those as well.
Having said all that, Arsenal looked very very good in that opening spell and if they hadnt taken the foot off the gas that could have been really embarrasing. Enjoy Jay.

It's a funny colour is red chaddy, it has the propensity to make it's wearer consider themselves to be a superior being, when infact blue is far easier on the eye and is worn by the more discerning.

Looking around a car boot sale I noticed a Man Utd shirt with a £2.00 ticket on it, I told the seller that it wasn't a lot and he said "OK I'll give you £4.00 to take it".

Fellas,
As I said, a measure of how good a team is is not the setback it is the response to the setback that is the yardstick. a thumping win away at Everton needs no more comment than that. It is great when the team does the talking for you.

We didn't play particularly well yesterday but I'm somewhat impressed that we are in there with a slight chance. I think it will come down as it often does to the matches played against the contenders this year so next weeks match between Utd and Citeh will be very interesting.
If Arsenal are in amongst it at the end of Feb then just maybe......

Hep,
There are a number of measures to judge a great team and both yours and my stated measures are among them as is retaining the title after winning it........something that both City and Arsenal have never managed although actually winning it again a first time would be a good place to start for the gunners.

Dakey,
You rubbished my comment relating to both Man Utd and SWFC both having their first none British Isles manager, well the difference is showing at both clubs. continental managers play squad football and field sides to beat the opposition, not to entertain the fans, Man Utd will do very well, as will SWFC, but we will neither see individual stars in our lifetimes.
