Neil,
Just having a bit of fun mate, I dont mind who I wind up. I can get away with it on here as I am not allowed to speak in the house unless my significant other allows me to!
Just settling down now in the Rec room on the Taqa Harding platform ready for the gunners match and actually I agree with 'J's first two predictions of Stoke and Cardiff although they may be draws and not wins. Its the last one of going for City that shows a certain lack of knowledge (I hope)

Well after yesterday I think Bainsey's price just went up another £10mil or so - that was world class and no wonder Moyses wanted him too. Everton have a freshness about them with the incredibly powerful Lukaku, the youthful strength of Barkley, and energy of McArthy now combined with real experience throughout the eam - things are looking good

Have to say well done City - deserved the three points today. We were sh*te. The only thing more sh*te than us today was the old common denominator Mr Webb.
Well done Spurs. Still believe they will be challenging us for our title at end of the season.City will be up there too. I'll be surprised if the Arses and Chelski can maintain a strong challenge.

Top after 15 he he he ain't gonna happen

We look alright mate leaking a few to many but will take the start. Spurs will fade as always but with utd looking so weak they might just nick the fourth slot this year.

Well, A big up for City, they thoroughly deserved that today, it was a proper tonking and they do have a habit of doing that to us once in a while. Fortunately, in the bigger picture it wont matter a jot. That is what happens when good players are motivated and champion players get complacent. In our history results like that only motivate us to do better and come matchday 15 the status quo will be re-established. However, that is for then and for now I will just take it on the chin and once again enjoy while it lasts you blue mooners.

The BBC report on the match calls Man U 'hapless'. I have to admit, I love to see M.U. getting a tonking and look forward to one or two other teams poking it right up them this season. What really would make me happy would be to see them tumbling into the relegation zone and shut up those gloating 'satellite bandwagon fans' who probably could not find their way to Old Trafford even with the most up to date sat-nav system in the world.

Kev,
Expect a plethera of derogatory and even slightly amusing posts over the next period mate, there will be an outpouring of ABU comments as they wait so long for times like this. While these defeats undoubtably hurt like hell, we have suffered 5-1, 6-1 and now 4-1 reversals in recent times and in the grand scheme of things what have they meant? Jack shit thats what. Just keep your eye on match day 15 and see where we are then, we will have our day.
Among the bitters euphoria, If I were one of them I would be asking myself a pertinant question, Why can we work like trojans and play like Brazil against Utd and on the other hand get played off the park by Cardiff, Hull and Stoke? Those are hardly credentials of a sustained title challenge in my humble opinion. We have our difficult start behind us now and are still in touch so there is absolutely nothing to concern us in the big picture.

If utd had only played Nani it'd all been so different!!
UTD as proved yesterday are abject and it's going to be a long hard season no doubt.Totally a one man team and without the skunk are not in it this year.
You must be very worried with 7 points from a possible 15 and by my reckoning after 15 games you will be between 9 & 12 points off the pace.
Dakey have you heard of Navas, Negredo and Fernandinho now??
Citeh should win it this year with their masive squad but their consistancy may be there downful as they have been flakey so far.
Cardiff unlucky yestrday

Jay,
Yes I have heard of those players, they played against Cardiff, Hull and Stoke and I prefer to have a balanced assessment not get carried away by a one off game where the team is over motivated by the opposition!

No complaints about Sunday, best team won by a country mile, as per my previous post a couple of weeks ago "the Citeh game will be a marker of how are season will fair as they have by far the best squad in prem) and it doesnt look the best but Im still convinced we will be there or there abouts at the end of the season as long as we sort out the midfield as our midfield is currently lacking big time, that great ball of hair was a useless lost sheep throughout the game on Sunday and Im still not convinced he was the right signing for us as I dont actually think Moyes knows where to play him, need a good responce against the dippers tomorrow, think the league will look totally different come mid Nov as our next run of games look easier on paper anyway.
Jay/ Neil- The Arse looking good at moment however so are Spurs but both sides havent really played anyone yet, be interesting to see how both teams fair in next month or so.
Hoping to get over end of Oct so may see some of you then.

Ged,
Spot on with all your comments, but as I have been saying after looking at the fixtures. 15 games in could well see us top and I am hanging my hat on that, but big improvement needed all round. The one thing a spanking by City usually does is motivate us to bounce back big style. lets hope so.
