Take it easy Dave, dont work too hard-lol, youre the only bloke i know that works less than me-lol
Went to real murcia today with city paul and had a great time. Good game but both teams had torres as a striker so instead of 3-5 it was 0-1
Im off to the far east for a couple of weeks on monday to met my trading mates for a seminar (okay loads of beers) then im back to condado full time!
hope to see you on the golf course soon ,
regards george

Dakey,
Tell us which is the worst ground to get way from after the game.
I don't mean when you played city and every man u fan and his dog disappeared after 75 mins.
I mean tell us about the crap tram and rail system you promised to improve to the local council and havent honoured.
You're money grabbing execs have increased and increased the capacity but didnt give a shite about how the fans got home.
I went to valencia a month ago and left after the final whistle but was back in the hotel in 10 mins.
I can get back from chelsea to purley in less than an hour.
Last time i went to the theatre of man city dreams it took 2 hours to get to altrincham let alone london where mosyt of your fans live and i vowed never to return.
As one of only a handful of man u fans than actually come from manchester it would be interesting but probably boring to hear your cyclops view on this.

George,
Havent really got a view on it mate, except to say that as more people go for a saturday afternoon walk in the local park than go and watch chelsea, then it would seem obvious that it would be easy to get home.
On the football front, I think the question must be not who will beat us next, but who will score a goal against us! for a team that got smashed by six the other week we have the most clean sheets in the league, bit of a contrast there eh.
Dave,
Stop flying all over the place for a minute and look at your upcoming fixtures, I think you have the Gunners at home mate, not away and I think you have a little home game against Norwich somewhere in the middle of it all. Bit of a crunch game in Italy Dave, a defeat and you are as good as out, any other result and you are sitting pretty. Should make for an interesting week.
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey I,d better send my arsenal away(leaguecup 6th round next week) tickets away then !!?? If we're not playin em. My point was places I'm off to, tickets got etc. Home ones also will come up. Your point to George, if you keep winning 1-0 each week you'll soon be 60 goals worse off in thegoal difference column. Stop kiddin yourself anything has changedsince we mauled you. There is very little to see.

back to the fotoball we must all except that all our clubs have debts some have to earn the money Arsenal Man u to pay them others get a cheque Chelski, City
Fantasic thrashing of Norwich by our boys whilst City scrape another win and Utd show top form in thrashing another top side.
Or shall we get real utd again nick a game without showing any form, Arsenal look good but cant finish teams off and another complete defensive cock up, And I am sadden to say City continue the march with another 3 goals,
Please note Dakey I can admit when my team are not up to par and give credit were credit is due!!!!!!
The weekend half over so we will see what the scouser, yids and chelski can produce,
On a much brighter note had me pint of George B 4 he leaves on his eastern adventure.

Whoops George,
Oh sorry mate, I forgot you are now a City fan, why should you worry about yet another Chelsea defeat?
Neil,
Its nice to see Arsenal back on form as I do appreciate good football wherever it comes from. Through gritted teeth I will admit that even City are quite pleasant on the eye these days. What I will add though is that the league is never won by teams playing pretty football all the time, the secret is to win when you are not at your very best and that is what Utd are doing right now. I am a bit more concerned about City than I was because they have just scraped a couple of wins in games they could have lost to QPR and Newcastle and as I say that is the formula to look for. I will stand by my prediction of us being top in mid January just in time for the period of the season when we start to get serious.
Dave, Sorry about the fixtures, forgot all about the domestic cups. Enjoy your trip to Italy.

Point taken and will wait till mid Jan so see what prediction comes in.
Even had a discussion last night in bar and did mention the Fergie always manages to keep in the race and push on in the new years so will be intrested in seeing wether he can do it again.
Although City are sitting pretty at the moment I have not conceded them the league yet.
My big problem is that Spurs are also looking good at the moment so my shout is Harry for England or send him to jail for tax fraud but either way I would like him out of there he is doing to good a job.
Chelski seem to be on a big slide so good time for George to bail to the east but it will trigger a major ruskie buying spree in the window.

Well fellas, I know we are making it a bit difficult for ourselves, but I will settle for needing a draw against Basle. The burning question is where is this team that is on a par with Barca? Drawing and losing to Napoli and getting smashed by Bayern is not something that I would recognise Barca doing. I cannot see Napoli mucking things up now against the Spaniards so an inglorious exit for our super team beckons I am afraid. With confidence in tatters, a trip to Anfield would not be top of my immediate agenda. Interesting weekend ahead I think.
Cheers, Dakey

Tony,
There will be plenty of twists to come in the CL, thats what makes it the best competition in the world...... Unfortunately none of them are going to involve your team!
Cheers, Dakey

I'd like to see all the Premiership teams make it through. Would make for some great games.
And of course for us supporters of other teams it might make things a bit harder for them in the league.

Well most now know I dont gloat but well through and top with a game to go nice rest for the boys next game and we can let the big guns have a rest. I think Van the Man needs it he's not a one man team but god we need him. It also means avoiding Barca and RM in the next round wihch has been a problem for us in the psat.
City are now finding out what european footie is about and maybe the lack of experience is showing.
Man U and Chelski are looking at second in thier groups so intresting draw if they make it through..
Back to the prem Dakey is right intresting weekend Arsenal got Fulham so 3 point I hope their and with Newcastle playing Utd and liverpool v City it should be upwards for us.
Jay aint it nice

It's certainly is Neil ;-) I was there last night and ive got to give the Dortmund fans massive credit. They had a massive following the biggest I have ever seen in the champs league for an away team including the British sides and they never stopped making a racket! Arsenal were more or less in charge all the way and the confidence is pulsing through them at moment. What a turnaround I'm not sure Citeh and utd will be worried exactly but they'll be mindful of us now and that's for sure.I know all my spurs pals are gutted that our run is so good. Looking forward to the Fulham game now. Cheers Jay

Neil, Jay & Shane,
Although we have the banter, I am happy when your teams are doing well because the clubs are run right and you have to survive on your own income, despite that the gunners and Spurs always play good football and are usually a pleasure to watch. I give City and Chelsea stick because as well as the obvious local rivalry with City, it is absolutely abhorant how they are trying to buy their way on to the top table. Its not just because its them, I would be the same with anyone who takes the same path and I will say it now for the record, even my own team UTD if we got a rich benefactor. it would strip us of our soul.
I love the CL knockout stages, but I cant abide the money grabbing group phases and I am glad we are back to the nitty gritty prem stuff again. could well tighten up a bit at the top this weekend.
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey I agree and my thoughts on sugar daddy backed outfits have been viewed to death on here so I'm not going to carp on. Citeh's only saving grace is that although they're not as well supported as Utd they're very well supported if you get me. Any real football fan with a knowledge and history of the game would admit that the city fans are amongst the most loyal and possibly long suffering of the lot. They have regularly turned out in their 1000's to support em for years and years and up until now have had very little back. So although I'm definitely against the way they're doing it I kind of have an empathy with the fans. After all Dakey it's not their fault is it and to be honest the "soul of football" has been on the wain for much longer than sheikh's have been in charge. The start of it all is abromovich's billions thrown at chelski and the whoring out of your own team and it's fans by the glazers and of course the utter greed of players and their odious agents. So whilst I understand your contempt for Citeh I think your standing on shakey ground on the finance front. Although a totally different model not a model to be proud of my friend!!! By the way did you see the sky sports program the other night about the money in the game? Very interesting. Cheers Jay

Have to laugh though at how City has made a complete mockery of the UEFA financial fair play rules. Not only do they have a dodgy sponsorship deal but they are running up never before heard of losses just prior to the start of the new rules. In one way I have to applaud them as it was the most sensible way to do things. Ironically it means if they start selling players when the new rules come in they'll benefit from it!!
I have no issue with fans getting excited when their team transforms from an average team to a team which arguably would have one of the best squads in Europe. I'd say enjoy it as there's always the chance your benefactor may get a new toy to play with.
I agree with Jay...I don't see the soul of football in evidence in the premiership. The game's soul is the $$$ and thats reinforced by the ruling body. Leagues are being bought...along with World Cups it seems (hosting that is).
It can still be a beautiful game...just played by mercanaries and run by corrupt officials.
