I love Rooney and all he has done for us and I think he was treated appallingly by the great man and there lies his problem. Nobody will take his side at OT against Sir Alex so he has nowhere to turn at UTD. Unfortunately he will not be allowed to leave this year to either an English club or even a rival in the CL. If he kicks up a fuss Moyes will leave him in the stiffs and he cannot afford that in World Cup year. Rooney has had his nose put out by SAF usurping him as main man for RVP and like a spoilt child that is what he cannot get his head round. All the talk about playing out of position is bull as that is one of his strengths and he endeared himself to us by playing anywhere and covering every blade of grass on the pitch. In concluson, he will not be allowed to leave until we have replaced him with a top class forward and that will not be in this window. Just a final point about media led rumour, can anyone actually quote me something that has been directly attributed to coming from Rooneys own mouth? because I cant find one for the life of me and also 30 mill for the most successful player in england in the last 8 years or so who is still only 27 when you get figures of 60 mill for Suarez and a ridiculous 100 mil for Bale. Get real Chelsea and start bidding at 60 mil and you may get some attention in the xmas window, but by that time you will be too far back like normal.

We can straight bat things around all day and usually do, but just imagine the pleasure of the vast legion of Utd fans when in the season of the 'special ones return' and the usual throwing around of money like confetti by the bitters, coupled with the usual early season optimism of various other clubs, when UTD without really spending anything finish top of the pile again! Doesnt bear thinking about mate does it?

youll do well to finish in the top 3 dakey. this season you have tried without success to spend huge amounts of money on ronaldo and the ex arsenal reserve at barca and cant get anywhere near them, however it seems you are losing a few as the exodus from ot gathers force as all concerned realise the forces are now at the eithead and stamford brodge

There's no forces at the Emptyhad or the down at the Russians just a bunch of overpaying egotists shelling out riddiculous money for players.
Look whats happened to the Spanish League... two greedy clubs doing there own deals for massive TV rights at the expence of every other team in their league making it impossible to compete and forcing clubs to the wall. Greed and money have ruined it and that's what citeh and chelski are fuelling. Nice work!!!!
Chelski and Citeh are the reason players have all the power and it is down to these clubs paying the sort of money they have paid in transfer fees and wages. It's totally inflated the market and inflated the players heads. Both clubs make me sick.

Continue to splash the cash on losers. Why not show some respect for bigger clubs who have built up a tradition in the right way rather than fooling themselves into thinking they can buy it. What a nobody.

You can tell a lot from what we just witnessed. If we do part with some dosh which I agree is debatable then I think we might be better equipped than we have been now that we have almost rid ourselves of all the dross. Throughout the pre season Ramsey has been a revelation hope it continues Jay

A crowd of over 80,000 and Wigan sold just 6,500 tickets! that says it all folks, the first time the community shield has attracted more fans than the FA cup final and practically all Utd fans. Mind you, we knew as the teams ran out for the final last season that a team wearing blue from the north west with hardly any supporters would be making the trip down.... whoever won the game. One trophy in the bag, 4 more to follow.

There must be something in the water at O/T, RVP comes to us having not won anything ever then wins two trophies in 3 months! Moysiah comes after 12 years with nowt and now has a record of ONE competitive match and ONE trophy. Blimey, that must be some kind of record there. The lesson is clear, if you want to win things there is only one place to guarantee it.
