I think having the semi final draw before Citys game was unfair..... They knew they had drawn a top side instead of lower league opposition and shit themselves.

That was a decent effort Jay, for once I agree with Chaddy, but the tie wasnt lost last night and it wasnt even lost in the home leg, although it was mortally wounded. Like City it was lost in the group stage when your so called experienced manager miscalculated what was required to win the group and played an understrength team. Still at least he knew how many goals were needed. Now, once we get that shite out of the way tonight it will pave the way for next week when our two teams who have a decent chance can have a crack at it.
If City can carry on improving then maybe down the line they can actually win the next trophy up the food chain from the League cup..... The community shield!

Well, Thats what I like to see, a good old fashioned tonking! A couple of talking points but the reaction to the two legitimate penalty appeals says it all. Barca just accepted their adverse decision and got on with it, the bitters on the other hand acted like spoilt children and more than one should have been red carded. After boasting about the quadruple all season to just have left a battle for a respectable league position must be a bitter (no pun intended) pill to swallow.
After the petty online petititon to oust Tom Cleverly from the England squad, I am going to start one to prevent City from playing in the CL. As a country, we cannot keep getting embarrassed like this by one club, it has got to stop here!

I have to agree wholeheartedly with the top TV pundit Jamie Redknapp who when asked by Jeff Stelling that if City only end up with the Capitol One cup would it be failure due to the disgraceful amount of unearned income spent? the simple answer was ......."ABSOLUTELY"!!

Looking at that George, your record is almost as good as Utds over the last ten years with the exception that we have more titles and a World Club cup instead of the losers cup that you have included as a top trophy which it will never be. Now that is embarrassing for everybody.......not quite sure at this juncture how the next ten years is going to pan out though!

Just to put another load of nonsense to bed, RVP has said he wants to extend his contract and the training sessions are the best he has encountered in his 12 years as a pro footballer. Might not fit in with the blinkered, ignorant of the facts, views of some people but that is from the horses mouth...... Now all he has to do is to put in the performances on the pitch to justify a new contract instead of the dross he has been serving up this year so far and I have a feeling that things are about to change for the better and big style.
