Chaddy,
Among others Jay and especially Neil were scathing about Utds team early on, I wonder what they have to say about their super team winning only one of their games so far and their plans A, B and C are all built around Danny Wellshite, now that is what I would call a lost cause!

DORTMUND WERE ON MOTORBIKES AND WE WERE ON PUSH SCOOTERS TRYING TO KEEP UP.
Compared to Saturday against your lot we looked like a totally different team. I have no explanation except that to play Arteta in that role at that level is futile and I don't get it. Welbeck will get there I'm convinced. He's two opening games for us were against quality defenders and we'll not be up against them every week. Once he gets going he'll go on from there.

We have had over 3 years waiting for Wellbeck to produce consistantly to no avail, the problem as you have already witnessed is that he cannot hit a cows arse with a banjo. so good luck with that one.
The FA have released a statement this morning after 'CL match day one' and it is unprecedented.
" We are used to Man City embarassing us annually in the CL, but now the other 3 have joined in we want to withdraw all 4 instantly and re instate Man Utd to try and salvage some of our reputation and respect"
A bit tongue in cheek but that is what it will take to get over this weeks debacle.

dakey at least cfc are top equal of their group but drogba isnt quite the same as costa who surely would have had at least 3 last night .
However regarding your point about man u being reinstated i really dont think any team that gets knocked out of the milk cup 4-0 by a team from a town whose only claim to fame are a few plastic cows really doesnt stack up. However if scotland get independence tonight maybe you will be invited to play in their division 2 where i am sure you will get the success you crave again.

George,
That has got to be our worst collective week in european football since it began with the odd exception. Dishing the 'legend' Drogba has also got to be an act of betrayal for a so called Chelsea fan as well for Costa will never be fit to lace his boots so dont get carried away by a few goals against weak opposition early on mate, he will soon find his lower level of performance once it settles down.
I also agree with my fellow red ilb2012. The 3 or 4 squad men in the MK dons game are now no longer at the club as I predicted and the rest were kids. I also said judge us when the new players were available and the injured players were back and that is now.

Erm............
1) ''so dont get carried away by a few goals against weak opposition early on''
2) ''judge us when the new players were available and the injured players were back and that is now''
When it suits ..................

No Shamps
That is exactly what I said at the time and I stand by it.
The fact that City are on a losing streak even with their best players available means that you are also in the firing line my friend and that makes this weeks game with Chelsea even more critical than usual in the battle for runners up.

Now that the European shite is out of the way, back to the good old PL games that are much more exciting. Some big big games and tests for everyone and a real test for the new Utd away at Leicester. They have drew with both Arsenal and Everton at home and beat Stoke away just after Stoke had smashed up City at the Etihad, in fact they were desperatley unlucky to have lost at Chelsea. So I am under no illusions, they could very well hold us to within 3 goals if things go their way (lol)
