Hi
I've enjoyed watching this from the sidelines.
From a neutral standpoint I would be happy to see either Sunderland or Man City break the Big 4's stranglehold. Its become monotonous and predictable even for me. I cant see Sunderland ever achieving that in the short to mid-term, they dont have the any financial clout. Whereas Man City have the financial clout but not the right manager ( not enough tactical nous) and the players are more mercenary than accomplished, both sets of fans deserve better.
I think it will go to the wire between Man U and Chelsea. The 2 master tacticians Ferguson and Ancelotti will decide where the trophy will end up

Lets just get this straight right from the first day, Man City and the rest of the hopefuls are spending zillions to try and break into the group of three that are trying to break Man Utds stranglehold on the premiership. There is no big four, there is a big one [last three titles and eleven from sixteen] Then there is a smaller three and a lot smaller remainder. Please can everyone remember that when you talk about the "big four"
Ps How are you today Jeb? look on the bright side only another 40 points needed for Everton to be safe!
Cheers Dakey

Excuse my ignorance but do newcastle not play in Black and White stripes?? Does the Yellow indicate the massive slip up last year??
Ali
Hope this is now the right thread now, now just answer the question Ant.

Season underway, some predictables, some shockers. Watched our Blackburn win in Kennellys, Camposol. 4 games on at same time. Just got back home after wonderful weekend and off to Barcelona tomorrow for friendly. Love some of the brave predictions people make. Bin a few years since I stopped jinxing things. My good mate Dakey started with some howlers, Everton to be top 4 Arsenal to be no-where. Hope you didn't have any bets. Good results for Spurs and Wigan, who saw that one comin. Warrabout Sunderland Ant? Good away win.
We've doubled our away victories from last season all ready. Lets have some of you with bottle predicting all 4 English divisions and we can check if anyone gets it right.
May most of your teams treat you kindly (obviously not yours Dakey ha ha )

My oh my, what a fantastic day out at the nou camp. Sell out crowd of 98,000 15,000 locked outside and we win 1-0. First British team to win the trophy now if only we had somewhere to store it. We'll have to build a cabinet now.
More cracking results in premier. Spurs started well, Chelsea strong, good old Burnley. Wolves win at Wigan after Wigan beat Villa!!!!!
Lets have some tipsters. Dakey is brave enogh to do it I'm sure? and you too Ant.
Hope Murcia get promoted, would be great to watch la liga live again.

OK TOP 6 Prediction
1. Chelsea - looking very strong
2. Manu - will struggle without wonder boy
3. Arsenal - may even pip UTD the way they started
4.Spurs - Harry can work a miracle
5. Everton - I have to put them in somewhere ! (but need to keep Moyes)
6. City (Manchester) - and without Lescott until January at least as Moysey will let him stew in the reserves
yes that right L'Pool nowhere to be seen (sorry Graham !) but I just couldn't put them up there - Rafa gone by Xmas and the Arabs will be on board.
OK who else wants to embarrass themselves now ?????

Top six teams in England, no brainer.
1] Man Utd
2] Man Utd Reserves
3] Man Utd Youth
4] Man Utd Academy
5] FC United
6] Burnley
Heady days at City Dave, we have seen nothing like it in Manchester since the legendary Auto Windshields City team! At least we have got our customary fluke defeat out of the way early this year.
Cheers Dakey
