Just a thought guys, what if the media hype over Jose has p****d off the Glazers so much that they wouldn't hire him because of it?
Christ LvG has dropped Rooney, this could backfire big style.

A very ropey turn out at st Marys and Southampton well deserved their win despite a couple of little fouls that the ref missed. I couldn't grumble and certainly wasn't on Monday. Ozil is beginning to reach the status level of Dennis & Thierry in respect of his playing ability in the premiership.
So after all the Christmas games as predicted it's the Gunners that top tree. I would certainly have taken that after our first game of the season. So far this has been one of the best premier league seasons with so much quality spread amongst almost all the teams with every side able to beat each other.
Only problem is the form of Spurs which in all honesty is championship winning form. Just hope that it's us that makes sure that their outstanding 54 year old record remains in tact.

Pavel Srnicek who played for the Owls from 1998 to 2000 sadly died yesterday aged 47, God bless you Pavel, this is far too young.

Well it's looking like 3 of the current bottom 6 of the Premiership are facing the drop (Villa nailed on), whilst 3 of the current top 10 of the Championship will be promoted (albeit Boro look close to the wire). As for Premiership champions it's looking like any of the current top 4, I can't split them at the moment, making it very interesting, as for Man Utd they are awful to watch but the Jose factor still hovers over them, I just wonder if Pep Guardiola opted for Man Utd and Arsenal won the title would Jose end up at Man City, it's a funny old game isn't it?

Hi Guys,
I have been a bit busy..... but my assessment that injuries to a lot of key players were the main reason for the slump proved to be correct when an almost full strength side battered Chelsea and were only denied the win by the woodwork, poor finishing and a diabolical non decision by the ref over Willians handball. 9 points deficit to Arsenal and only 6 points to the bitters is certainly not insurmountable as long as the players stay fit, so I am still optimistic of nicking it. Teams that ship 4 to the likes of Spurs, Liverpool and Southampton genarally dont win leagues.
