Tony,
Bit difficult to get to Anfield from the middle of the North Sea, but I will have a nice comfy chair in the Rec room, just like my normal one in my local where I usually watch the games from. As for refs being on our side, we have dropped Webb as our resident ref after his act of treachery last week at the Etihad. Enjoy your weekend.

Tony,
If I keep throwing out enough bait the biggest daftest fish always bites. nice one. It was just a question of who bit first, you or Chaddy. I am surprised slightly that you bit before him, but I suppose whoever reads out the posts for him might have been out shopping or something.

All this red v blue and I hope you are keeping an eye on spurs as they can upset the pair.
Everyone knows I would rather see the title in manchester than Spurs so will both of the Mancester clubs sort their form to stop the yids please.
As I now settle to watch the game I will be routing for the scousers as well as Chaddy.... sorry dad as well... but its purely selfish more games for liverpool helps us in the battle for fourth but more importantly hearing the Utd excuses when they get beat is always the comedy moment of the week.
So come on liverpool give me a laugh

Well Fellas,
Unlike some you dont have to entice me out of hiding after a setback. Firstly, let me congratulate Liverpool on the win and for completing a fantastic week for them, its funny isnt it, last week Manchester humbled North London, this week it was Liverpools turn to do it to Manchester. I could go on about a team full of missing players but that would be disrespectful to the 11 we put out as they put in a real shift and hardly deserved to lose that game. Unfortunately that happens sometimes.
One thing I will say is that when he is maybe 25 and fills out a bit and gains some experience, De Gea may turn out to be a good keeper, but at the moment he is a liabilty and he really should not be given any more game time this season unless it is an emergency.
Thats it fellas, over to you all......

Dakey,
I agree - well done Liverpool. It was a tight game and, whilst we were the better team overall (hats off to Dalglish, Gerrard and Kuyt for all saying so much after the game) the game is all about scoring goals and Liverpool did that. We didn't make enough chances given our play. Having said that I'm really quite heartened by our performances against Arsenal and Liverpool. Given the injuries we have I can't criticise the players for the effort they are putting in. Welbeck has been outstanding and Carrick seems to have had a return to form. Scholes and Giggs have rolled back the years and if we can get a few more players back we can end the season on a high. I also agree De Gea could be a good keeper if he comes through the next few years. The problem is he may not have the chance.
My only gripe about today was the two footed challenge by Maxi at the start of the second half. He didn't even get a yellow card when the FA this week said two footed challenges should b a straight red. I don't know whether Halsey was confused by Liverpool substituing him immediately but we need consistency and clarity.
I've just seen Chelsea's penalty - my god do we need video refs in the game!

Dakey,
Means we are still awaiting your nonsense prediction of being above us by the middle of January - We obviously misunderstood when you kept bleating on about it, we thought you meant 2012!!
Then again when you never attend any games and therefore are not prepared to show any support for a club we can not take anything you say seriously.
Enjoy the TV and stick to playing tiddly winks

Tony,
My friend, If I never attended another game again I would still have gone to more than you in my lifetime, I just pick and choose my games now. I make no apology for enjoying the matches these days in the comfort of my local pub and I am not on my own in that respect in these days of TV saturation. I am contributing more than you as I still purchase my season ticket pick my games and let friends use it and I pay my Sky subscription as well as help my landlord pay his sky subscription so I am paying three times for the privilige of supporting my team...... and whatever you say you still support a shite club!
